then call and ask them if it makes a difference but none the less what ur trying to do should only take like 5 minutes .
-
o and u shouldnt have to do all of that, just point the wheels straight and loosen the lock coller on the drag link and adjust till the pitman arm is straight by using ur educated eye and checking the steering wheel. remember its not rocket science :brows:
-
if ur gona take it to the alignment shop then just tell them to center the wheel for ya that would be easiest.

Had the same problem with my bros s10 , wouldnt start after a heavy rain i spent weeks testing every little sensor , chasing wires and also tried to hook up the snapon scanner i got from work and the truck didnt want to talk to me, finaly came to the conclusion that the ECM got wet and fried . so i replaced it and it works now . I'm not saying that ur ecm is bad but somethn worth looking into if nothing obvious pops up

Well i finaly got the E-brake working again . i had no luck finding anything longer so i decided to lower the bracket and move it back to compensate for the lift hight i lowered it down 3.5" and back 2" and it works perfect and i don't see it geting in the way of anything .

86FUBAR replied to 87MJJeep's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
most tires are not the actual size as advertized they are typicaly under by an inch or so but it varies from company to company , speaking from experience INTERCO tires are usualy spot on give er take a CH . -
i think drop brackets and those arms would be a good combo , and since u already have those arms i say go for it and spend the saved money els were like on a locker or something useful. but please lets not get started on drop brackets again :brows:
