  2. i would appreciat some detailed pics of the carb installed and any problems etc... u encountered as iv been wanting to do the carb swap , thanks.
  3. u can either rent/buy or build a puller or u can get a bolt that fits some what snug inside the bearing , then u fill the inside of the bearing with grease insert bolt into hole and hit bolt with a hammer , remove bolt and refill the hole with grease and repreat prosess untill the bearing comes out
  4. Well if none of that works ,which i hope is not the case for u is the clutch fork could be broken . I know that its a long shot but i had that happen to me not long ago
  5. Nice build so far, what springs do u have in the back that would net that kinda lift ? iv been wanting to inboard my springs to increas flex but with the longarms i kinda don't need much more flex.
  6. mine has a nice rubber seal , hear is one option that i found . my bros s10 has this on it and works well http://www.technologylk.com/crl-slider- ... rc=froogle
  7. Perfect , looks like a custom . They probably don't have one for a short bed .... Looks good man , does the back corner hang off a little or is that just me . thanks , no it sits flush all the way around
  8. finaly drug the manch out of my parents back yard and dusted it off as i got some work to do on her . not much done yet but i did manage to strech the front axle out the 3/4" that it needed to help accomidate its newish shoes, next i got to fab a new track bar bracket and then work on some rear d/shaft mods and skid plates .
  9. here is what i had on mine, as far as i know its comanche specific to
  10. I'm sorry to hear that man , at least they gave you a bit of a heads up as thats more than alot of other companys will do. good luck finding another job
  11. Well for what its worth when i put the 4" xj lift on my manch some 8 years ago and i put the add a leafs in the back and it sat level , infact the add a leafs are still in the truck to this day and are still working fine , i have since gone SOA aswell to net me near 9" of lift . o and the lift was made by trail master
  12. and there is this route u could take 2x6 3/16 wall the passenger side slider also doubles as my air tank
  13. just got done watching it and i wish you 3 the best , theres nothing cooler than being a parent mason
  14. I thought the 44 was only a 1" longer than the 35 ? but either way u might be able to drill a new hole in the spring pearch to be able to move the axle rearward in order to reuse the stock drive shaft , this will put the rear tires closer to the fender but the ability to do this depends on the size tires u have
  15. I'm running 10's aswell with i believe 4"back spacing , though 10's wernt my first choice i couldnt pass up the deal , but i would agree that they will put more stress on the bearings and ball joints aswell as reducing bead retention but in my case iv got the front hub conversion that has better front wheelbearings and my rims are TR beadlocks.
  16. Its not a game persay but me and some friends used to play " Power Hour " . what u do is u need a analog clock with the second hand and u take a shot of beer every minute for an hour , which in the end turns out to be about six beers in the end , the hard part is trying to burp because by the time the burp comes its time to take another drink . it might sound easy but iv seen this game criple some seasoned drinkers and if u end up yacking wile playing (someone usualy does) u gota pound a beer after and continue playing and don't forget to crank the tunes !
  17. LOL! u people and ur rust ! :shake:

  23. No worries, I might have left em in the 97 XJ that I pulled the center console out of...oh well, they were cheapys I think. Yah, the switch was gone yesterday already before I got there too (I pulled the Trans Power/Comfort Switch panel, not that I have a use for it, but I thought someone might)... I usually walk thru looking for the lebaron vents, but was already in there too long yesterday. I was also hoping to find an engine skid (or tranny or gas tank skids), but I've never seen one on any of the XJ's even that are out there (was hoping the Laredo may have had them on still). Wade well i didnt see them in the xj either but i sure want to go back and get the tranny and t case and doors or atleast the tcase but i don't got any more money and i forgot to check and see what they went for . u wouldnt happen to know?
  24. Sorry wade i didnt find any dykes but i did manage to get the cargo light out but somebody walked off with the switch  . but i did manage to come across some lebaron hood vents that are in perfect shape ,sorry no pics at the moment
