We know that he drove down a quad trail... If you can't tell the difference between a quad trail and a legal road... well... :dunno: :shake: ...I'll leave it at that...

Help Instrumental Panel Gauges Not Working!!!
BLHTAZ replied to Rayko~Tux83's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
It seems that they have you on the right track so I just say... Welcome to the Club  -
:agree: Sounds like it's time for a new o2 sensor. After you replace it, to clear the code you simply disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and leave it off for a few minutes. BTW...welcome to the Club

Yep...if you hit F5, they will be gone...

Good work. Glad to see another one saved.

Yep...I know a guy that did it with a 4.7L / 45RFE in a TJ down here

My PC is a Gateway and my Laptop is a Compaq. My PC has 9 USB ports and I tried them all. 6 of the ports are in constant use so I know thay are working. My Laptop has 3 ports and I tried all of them as well knowing that I had just used one of them to do a back-up to my external HD recently. I shipped the iPod back to the company that I bought it from and they are sending me a new one...just sucks that they are all the way up in Lynnwood, WA.

Snow...?? :hmm: I was just out cutting the grass... :brows:

:agree: It sounds to me like you are just not the Jeep type, so I say sell it to someone that gets it and cares  .

Yeah...I forgot about the change to the NGC in 2003. Mine is a 2002... ;)

 You did all that damage on one trail?? If it was that narrow, it should have been obvious that it was not for yoru truck to go on :shake: . I am not trying or intending to be an @$$, but doing stuff like that is what is giving all of us a bad name and getting trails closed down all over the country :smart: Remember... Now...go fix your truck and stay on proper trails ;) :D

There is a seperate controller for the trans. I will never argue the fact that the AW4 is the wise choice in this situation, but the 45RFE & 545RFE are hailed by all the transmission techs that I have ever talked to. Every one of them say that they hardly ever work on one for more than just regular services. Mine has pulled a 5000lb trailer many miles over several states and has not given a minutes trouble with over 90K on it now. Next to the AW4...the 45RFE trannys are the best in the Chrysler line (in current production) from all my experience working at dealerships.
-
There must be a difference in the older 545RFE & the newer style. I have the 45RFE in my '02 Ram Truck and it, as well as all of the 45 & 545RFE trannys, is tough as nails. It is a highly desired transmission that virtually never gives any trouble. The 45RFE can be turned into the 5 speed version with a computer flash if so desired, but I have never seen any need to do it to mine.

Guess I'll have to see if there is a store anywhere around tomorrow...

I have already restarted it 3 times. I am starting to think that there is something wrong with this iPod as it will not work on my PC or my laptop. :fs1:
-
Nope...nothing there. I think that is the problem I am trying to overcome. It will not recognize it, there for I can't use it... :dunno: . I was hoping that maybe someone on here had been down this road before and could tell me if I am not understanding/doing something correctly.

Valve Cover Vacuum Orifice Gaskets
BLHTAZ replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Looks good Don :D  I really can't believe that you didn't have the powder coat done in Chrome though...  -
I bought a 3rd generation iPod Shuffle just to have something to occupy my mind while I ride my bike for some exercise every day. The problem is...I can't get it to work. The instructions say to plug the USB cord in to the computer, then put the iPod on the dock. It is supposed to come up and go through a set up/sync process with iTunes (which I have downloaded the latest version of), but nothing happens :dunno: . It does say that on the initial set up it may take a few minutes to charge the iPod before it will begin to work, but it's been plugged in for almost 3 hours now and still nothing. It doesn't say anywhere if the iPod is to be turned on or off, but I ASSumed that it would have to be on to make anything happen... Anyone have any knowledge of these things that can help me... :smart: I have always like new gadgets, but this one is really irritating me. I want my mini-cassette player back

Still at $1.83 here...

...and a D35 rear axle... :hmm: :clapping: Good stuff Pete...

20's on an MJ... :shake: They look OK on a full size truck, but a Jeep is just not made for anything larger than a 17" wheel in my opinion.
-
Motion Off Raod, who is a member here, sells them for MJ's as well. They have them for both short & long wheel base. I would think that XJ rockers would take considerable work to install on an MJ.

Previous Owner Had a Bad Idea
BLHTAZ replied to hogelectra's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That's not fixing the problem though. Why make all that effort to put a band-aide on something instead of doing it right when you know what it needs :dunno:
