I have seen many different custom bed options and there are endless posibilities for what you can do to carry what you need back there. I must say though...anyone that carries their dog in the bed of a truck should not be a dog owner :shake: . The only acceptable way to transport a dog in the bed of a truck is in a cage that is properly secured to the truck...so I hope that is what you intend  .

Welcome to the world of MJ :clapping:  ...and the Comanche Club  .

On a scale of 1 - 10 ... RC is about a 5/6. You will still need to get upper control arms and I would recommend getting some rear springs from Motion Offroad or Hell Creek suspensions instead of using the add-a-leaf. That kit (as it is) will get your truck lifted, but the ride quality is going to be terrible and if you do any wheelin', the stock upper control arms are not going to hold up.

 Bravo Don... :clapping: -
I was out of town when that one ended. I had it in my watch file, but didn't make it home in time to give it a try. :( Congrats on the win... Seems like a long shipping time though. That auction ended on 11/22... :hmm:

Yeah...the projects forum is probably the best place to go and see what folks are doing with their rigs.

 15 years ago...I would have wanted to do something like that...and could have. Now I want to do it, but I know better than to try it ;) . Very cool though...thanks for sharing

Yep...Yahoo, Google, MSN, etc, etc... All the major search engines use them to get the info that you find when you use one of those searches. They are harmless...and they used to be called "spiders". I can't remember if phpbb offers it, but in some forum software there is a setting that will keep them from showing in the "users online" list at the bottom of the index page.

I just sent out reminder emails to all that have not paid as of today. There are 8 orders currently not paid so please remember to get the payment to me by December 6th if you wish to get your shirts. :smart:

Yeah...they hunt with dogs down here too...which is why I quit hunting and sold my guns. I don't think dogs are legal in PA for deer hunting, but I haven't been there since 1985...and I know that if we saw dogs running deer when we were hunting...we would shoot the dogs.
-
 Using dogs is NOT hunting and should be illegal IMO... :shake: . That's just lazy posers dressed up and carrying a gun  Dogs are for hunting birds & rabbits

The switch is definite a possibility, but the cylinder will have nothing to do with electrical function. I have posted and Electrical Manual & the FSM in the DIY forum if you care to download them and have them in your computer... I would get it. 6000lb is definitely enough for the weight of the MJ providing that you are not trying to pull the entire vehicle up a hill if it's not running, but it will be more than enough for assistance in getting unstuck or up over a rock with the truck running and helping  . Given an option...I would go for the 8 - 9000lb, but this is a good deal if it is in good working order.

Agreed on the $800 offer...but I would also ask them to take those running boards off :ack: . Tell them that they can keep them for the aluminum scrap...

Absolutely... When I lived in PA, venison was the primary meat on the table all year long. Steaks, jerky, bologna, burgers...you name it...we made it

That big one is not a problem for people like me with a large high resolution monitor, but there are still a lot of folks out there that would have a problem being able to see a 1024x768 still. Try to keep them too a max of 800 pixels wide in consideration of those that still use a CRT monitor. Photobucket allows you to select a size before you upload a picture and it will be automatically resized if it is larger than what you select. ;)

A man kills a deer and takes it home to cook for dinner. Both he and his wife decide that they won't tell the kids what kind of meat it is, but will give them a clue and let them guess. The kids were eager to know what the meat was on their plates, so they begged their dad for the clue. Well, he said, 'It's what mommy calls me sometimes'. The little girl screams to her brother... 'Don't eat it, it's an a$$hole...

 I'll let you know when it gets here.

50mb is not much. If you do much browsing & downloading, you will use that up in a hurry. I don't use wireless broadband, but have looked in to it a time or two and I remember being told that Sprint was $60 a month for unlimited use... :dunno:

I was thinking it would be quite interesting if this miracle season that Tampa is having would continue and they actually got to play in the Super Bowl...at home  Steelers vs. Tampa in ... The Steelers have been able to get most of their top guys healthy again just in time for the late season run with some tough teams. I am still skeptical about how far they will go, but they proved in 2005 that anything is possible just as the Giants did in 2008.
