Rusty's is a company that nearly everyone on here will tell you to stay away from. They have had many quality issues as well as poor customer service. I have never dealt with them personally because I have to friends that did and they both went through hell dealing with issues with bad springs and no one wanted to help them :shake: .

Yes...all Wranglers from '07 - up are 5 on 5
-
That's what I was wondering too. If it's the full-size Jimmy, then it would have decent axles to swap, but the front is going to have the diff on the wrong side.

Seems that the Gray and Red have been the most common I have seen, but there are a few with Black out there...hard to find though.

Supercharger question?????????
BLHTAZ replied to GaruMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Who...?? About what...??? :dunno: -
Yep... We need another Lee Iacocca
-
No......it ended on the 28th, last Friday, and it was shipped on Monday. AHHH...I didn't notice that your word "One" was a link, until I went back and floated my mouse over it just now, as it was not underlined or colored. That's one thing that I don't like about this "Green" version of the board...you can't see coded/linked words very well at all...but, I digress. I thought you were talking about the one originally posted the week before...

Brilliantly designed advertising if I do say so myself... :D :clapping: The name of that beer sounds like the sound you might make after drinking a bit too much though... :ack: ...BLATZ ...

Thanks to everyone for making the effort to get this taken care of. All orders that have been placed are now paid  :clapping: Anyone wishing to get a last minute order in can still do so until the end of the day today as long as you have the ability to pay immediately with PayPal. I will be watching my email closely all day just in case. Please be sure to go to the original thread about the shirts and follow the ordering instructions so there will be no delay in the process.

Supercharger question?????????
BLHTAZ replied to GaruMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That seems just a little off, I'm calculating more like 119mph in overdrive at 5k rpm. :???: With 4.56, auto, 31's. Of course the supercharger makes no difference in the speed per rpm.   -
If you go 3" or more, then you will need a track bar. If you just do some 2" spacers, you should be OK, but the axle will be off just a little bit. You have already done some cutting if you have 31's on a stock truck. There is no way that 31's go on without a lot of rubbing stock.
-
Yep...you will definitley need to do some decent trimming to fit 33's under a 3" lift. I have 31's with an RE 3.5" and there is not a lot of room left. You could do some 4" TJ coils and an AAL... They should give you about 3" on the MJ. You will need a track bar and some longer sway bar links as well though.

Supercharger question?????????
BLHTAZ replied to GaruMJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
OK...I was exaggerating a little bit on the RPM's, but you get the point ;) :D . I run 4.56's with 35's, 4.0L, AX15 and it is plenty of gear for that. I could actually run 37" tires with the 4.56's and have no problem as they seem to be a little too much gear for the 35's. -
Permanent Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge
BLHTAZ replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
These systems don't hold any pressure to be worth worrying about...and the Renix systems don't hold it for more than a few minutes at best. ;) -
No big deal ;) Flaming is not going to happen around here
-
Yep...it's that gray one that we were all looking at just a week or so ago
-
Actually...Nissan, Renault & Hyundai have all officially expressed interest in Chrysler as a whole, so they would be the more likely scenario if it came to that, but I really don't believe it will.

The only year since 1987 that there was not a Wrangler made was 1996. YJ was '87 - '95 then TJ was '97 - '06 ;) Sorry... :hijack:
-
The '07 & newer Wranglers (JK) are 5 on 5. Yes there was an '06 Wrangler (TJ), but they were 5 on 4.5 like Jeeps have been for many years.
-
They are 5 on 5

The spray pattern will not be any different as they are the same injector other than a very small difference in flow rate. The Ford Motorsport injectors have the 4 hole design that gives a much better atomization (more of a mist) and therefore a much more efficient use of the fuel for more complete burning, better acceleration and improved fule economy  Swapping in HO injectors just doeesn't have much to offer in comparison and is a waste of time & money.
-
How about one dancing upside-down ... :D Sorry... :hijack:

HO injectors in a non HO?
BLHTAZ replied to project88mj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
ABSOLUTELY!!You will just be getting another set of injectors that are dirty and restricted like what you have already. I tried the used injector thing in the MJ before I found Precision Auto Injectors and they did nothing.
