  1. when I bled my clutch it was with all new parts. I ran a return line back to the master with a one way valve and got the bubbles out of the system that way. After I did this I still had problems with my clutch disengaging and it was bad parts, so I had to do it all over again with different parts.
  2. if in the state of colorado for me to get collector/classic/antique plates I would. The .gov stopped the 25yr old rolling timeline around 5+ years ago, I can only get those plates if I have a '75 and older vehicle.
  3. I put a little bit of 30min epoxy between the aluminum insert and the hardend plastic, hasn't come apart yet!
  4. just limit the SB to a certain number of charactors and that will curtail the major tech questions appearing in it.
  5. I like driving my ax-15 MJ in the snow and regular driving. On the other hand in the LJ, I like the horrendous 42rle in traffic and wheeling. If you could actually like a minivan transmission in a jeep, and it is difficult to be changed out to a AW-4 because the TCM is integrated into the ECM.
  6. with 31's get 3.73's, and get the lightest wheel/tire combo that you can find. Extra unsprung weight puts a major knock in gas mileage.
  7. I'm guessing it can. I'll stick to my Redline MT90. I use the brother to the mt-90, the redline 75w90ns, been working well so far even with towing bails of hay on a heavy trailer.
  8. PICS!!! Was awesome. I agree with Rick, next year we need more MJ's.
  9. That's horrible having to sanke out two toilets, glad the pipes are flowing again!
  10. Bummer, would have been nice to have more than one MJ there.
  11. When will you know? I contacted xjs4ever offline, sounds like he is going to try to make it also.
  12. From: http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?213107-Summer-Jeep-Fest!!! If I don't hear from you local guys that your bringing your MJ's to this, I'll be bringing the LJ.
  13. the only thing I will say is that most of the MJ's on this site are better than that one.
  14. :rotf:I've owned two.
  15. Found out that I blew the power steering pressure line while towing, fixed it in all of 45 minutes.
  16. party! :rock on: that's the short list of the food that's already in the walk-in fridge
  17. towed 25 bails of hay with the usual trailer, dropped off the trailer to pick up a full bed load of strawberries, grapes, oranges for work. Adding the mirror extenders worked wonderfully.
  18. hey watch this...
  19. Was reminded of this pic that I took a few years back on Shrine Pass when it came up on my desktop background shuffle with my woman in the pic.
  20. They were using a forklift with a platform on it to sit the drivers front wheel on, and they were saying "if we had a RTI ramp, this would be your score" I didn't want to say that I knew the guy that was going to bring it. They scored it at 634 (71.6 up a 20 degree ramp)
  21. my google-fu was slow today, get some aftermarket upper control arms: Control arm length to lift height chart 3/4 of an inch between stock and 4.5" lift for conrtol arms, the lowers are aftermarket and the uppers are stock, there's your bad caster angle. How is your pinion angle to the front output of the t-case, do you get any vibes from your front driveshaft?
  22. from the video, the driver side rear wheel/tire has some wobble to it. best thing to do is to have a friend record a near the ground shot in another car while your driving 30mph and see where it starts.
  23. washed it, drove it to a M&G, got an offer to buy it and told em no.
  24. I'm wanting to put the liberty diesel into a comanche now
