  1. $1500, but I'll bet he will come down
  2. oh and it is not running...
  3. I have a guy here with a 88 long bed and he was parting it out, I e-mailed him wanting the trailer hitch, we were 95% to making a deal then he said he sold the entire vehicle. it is back up on craigslist today... :fs1:
  4. LOL this thread just came up in my google search for the stock cfm's...not able to find it yet...
  5. I'll take a look into this and see if it is false advertising. I've seen "industry rule of thumb" been busted before and industry specialists say "that's not supposed not to work like that"...but it is. I would like to see more info on the proven 1300cfm on the stock 97+ stock fan, links please?
  6. Siliconeintakes.com $25 for a fan that i fit in the stock location with the stock fan shroud and it moves around 1200cfm (more than stock 97 fan, but draws the same amps as oem.)
  7. I like yours better also skidoo, how much for you to build another? (you can PM me if you wish) I had one question of the tow rating, and looked on their u-build-it XJ one and it said that it would be able to handle up to the original tow rating for the vehicle...wait what? do they really know what is their tow rating?
  8. the race motor was replaced by the 4 banger so his son could drive it, the race motor is still available seperatly. My wife told me no many times...even after the puppy dog eyes...I've lost my edge
  9. tried searching the autozone site, "no parts found" what a surprise. I would love to find it, mine has been without a adjustment linkage since I purchased my MJ and would love to get back in operating condition.

  11. I'm interested in one now but I have a few questions since the last post was 8 months ago. What is the progress on this? Did this idea just hit a brick wall and went no further? Are there still people wishing to have one for their MJ?
  12. did a few things over the past few weeks: Towed a 1979 Lincoln Continental Custom back to a friends house...glad I had the Luk Pro gold clutch to manage the torque needed to tow strap a 3 ton car on top of the 1 ton comanche weight. Ran Red Cone, it did well this time, last time it blew a clutch line.
  13. take a look at the clutch pedal assembly see if it has not broken.
  14. and with the 4.0, ax15, np231, it would be a little underpowered and easily breakable.
  15. good man
  16. I guess I'll have to come down there to test and see if my MJ could hit 85 on that road, and also see your "collection"
  17. You guys just ain't living in the right place
  18. did a lot of snow bashing today, most of the residential streets had 12-24"+ of snow on the side untouched powder, and in some areas it had drifted well over 36". My MJ went through it just fine, the only time I got worried that I was going to get stuck was on a uphill with around 24" packed snow/diffs dragging/sliding sideways/along the curb, brushing up against it once...dang almost got stuck. IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN!
  19. did doughnuts in my work's parkinglot, pulled out my bosses car from being over the curb...this is what usually happens when we get 12"+ of snow
  20. gassed it up, drove over some melted plowed snow, getting it ready for our 12"+ snow storm that the weather monkeys are forecasting
  21. wow, they must have changed that in 91, my switch for the light was attached to the vacuum motor attached to the axle. when mine is on, the shift fork has moved the axle disconnect into the connected position, the light can be on, but the x-fer case would still be in 2x4. none of the engine power would be going to the front axle due to the x-fer case would not be sending it, but the front drive shaft would be rotating due to the front wheels rotating.
  22. i'll be there before 9am to not have the late registration fees, till maybe after lunch time.
  23. VCubllXIe10 just about an inch now
  24. there is a plastic X that is out there that takes the place of that entire valve assembly, don't know what years, havent needed to research it, I just have seen it.
