Time to get serious about the NP435 swap! Transmission to transfer case adapter has been order just now through Novak. I decided to not get overly fancy and to stick with the current Dana 20. Should I want deeper than the 57:1 final ratio this setup will give me, I’ll always have the option to build a 2.46:1 low range Dana 20.
Four speed, here I come!
Yup. It hasn’t hardly been on the road since it got put back on so, at this point, there’s zero regrets. The snow probably won’t stick around too long though. This is just the mountains showing everyone who’s boss. Bare minimum, I’d like to get the ol’ CJ out one more time before pulling the transmission this winter.
Thanks, bro! This is a truck that sits a bunch, then I start threatening to sell it, then I need it for truck stuff, and then I love it enough that the threats stop for a while. Thanks for taking the time to read the whole thread!
Very well done, Bo! I thoroughly enjoy your builds based on how different you continue to make them. A huge tip of the cap on how this interior is coming together!
RAD!!! I love keeping track of the very few remaining Jeep sponsored and built trucks! Very cool!
Could you post more pictures of the truck as far as what’s original to the factory build? I’d love to know the whole story behind it!
Glad this project is over with. 28 steps in total and 71 6x6 timbers between the new retaining wall and steps.
Then I sealed up the expansion joints and the seal between the retaining wall and the sidewalk.
I added a gutter along the back of the car port but the plan is to add another along this side of the shop too.
These things are never done until the for sale sign goes back in the yard.
