Well got my truck fixed...I had a short that killed my ignition switch, burned out my starter, and ignition coil Been driving it for a while so far no shutting off at random...but still am getting exhaust and gas fumes in the cab...gota change those vacuum lines to the charcoal canister.... In other news I finally got my dana 30 diff cover for a future install of the one peice shaft just gota get the seal for it and then it's wrenching time....

The cherokee visor will not fit right on the comanche the roof lines from an mj to an xj are totally different.... I myself sold my mj visor and regret selling it So I found an xj one to see if it will fit and it doesn't match up with the roofline

I remember when I finally put a radio in my truck a year and a half without it and the day I put it in I felt weird...I was really getting accustomed to the stunned silence my truck was doing when driving down down the hwy.... The headlight covers look good....

Have you checked your vacuum lines? And check to see if the vacuum line at the map sensor is not disconnected or corroded?

I wish I could've kept my roll bar...I had a factory one with the truck...gave to my grandfather because i wanted a toolbox because I'm constantly in and out with my tools a roll bar wasn't in my best interest at the time

Well it's not the cps...drove the truck trying to get to my house to test it and as soon I hit the brakes there's a sudden drop of the rpm....I barely made it off the hwy...now sort of stranded at a gas station...truck starts no problem but still with the rpm dropping

Just swapped cps. truck is running doesn't do t he fluctuating idle when pressing the brakes.... The previous cps has seen it's better day considering it was full of old oil residue mud and dirt.... Will be updating this thread while I keep driving the truck

I did swap the relays from the one next to it..even cleaned and pulled the metal pieces for better contact and it will start fine but once it warms up and I'll go and step on the brake or something it'll want to shut down

If you can...when you. Do plan on installing this back up light can you post pics? I myself accommodated these parts but can't see to get my self out to drill a hole through the body of the truck....

As far as the track bar...at 3" of lift I got the sky jacker track bar relocation bracket... Better that than drilling into already a weak bracket.... Until you can get an adjustable track bar

Dude I want to do that c101 rewiring and fuse panel so bad like the later model one but I'm scared to even dare to adapt something that I don't know what goes where....

Any one with experience with this? Where your driving for a while or idle then hit the brakes the truck dies completely
