  1. Take a BFH and make some clearance for your tires. That doesn't cost anything.
  2. Lift it 3" and run 33s. Get wheels with around 3.25" of backspacing, trim the fenders, and bumpstop. Going any higher and you everything starts to get real spendy. You'll be happier with how it drives at 3" than 6", especially since you are going to be daily driving it.
  3. I've done it both ways. (lol) The hinges are weak from the factory, do you think taking 25% off the hinges won't effect them? I'm no rocket surgeon, but if my math adds up, that makes the flimsy factory hinge at least 25% weaker.
  4. If there is anyone good at giving advice, it's me. Do what I do, pretend to listen to her, chicks dig that. Or text her a picture of your privates, maybe she'll reciprocate.
  5. That thing is huge and ugly, reminds me of my penis.
  6. :rotf: I don't think I ever posted in that thread.
  7. How much did it cost me to build that? I have no idea, I'd guess about $9-10000. But I know you could have bought it for $7000, cause that's what I sold it for. I'm working on my latest Jeep a 95 XJ with 2.5" of lift and 33's. I just started it, but I've got big plans for this one.
  8. Find a set of XJ Wagoneer tail lights. That's what I'm running.
  9. Thanks Brandon. Damn I miss her..................

  13. I'm a little late but, happy birthday Pete. Thanks for the site, and for not kicking me off...........................yet.
  14. I'm not too far away. 8)
  15. Thank you, but I sold it, and the next owner rolled it. Anyway to answer your question I was at about 7" in the rear but that was with 1" U-bolt eliminators.
  16. The coolest one too.
  17. Is your foot still on the pedal?
  18. Do some research on Motion Offroad. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.p ... on+offroad http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269026 http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=262434 They probably have the worst reputation of all offroad companies.
  19. Wow, that looks great.
  20. Classy.
  21. Thank you. ;)
  22. Welcome to the club. Aren't many chicks around here, be sure and post a few pics of your Jeep and of yourself.
  23. DeWalt makes a set with self piloting tips that I really like. Step bits are also real handy for certain jobs too.
  24. What about for brain surgery or piloting a Harrier or traslating French to Chinese? Would you be upset if I assumed you weren't qualified to any of those things? Just like brain surgery, building a set of long-arms is possible, you just want to make sure you know what your doing before you start cutting. Based on what you've posted you aren't quite there yet. Go and do some research like I suggested. What did you expect from your post anyway, "ok so here's the deal, i want to make a long arm kit...well not really a kit but i want the RAD to have long arms under it, how hard would it be to make a set?". How hard is it? Is it a be-otch? You must be like 16.
