  1. Wu-tang. No wisdom found.
  2. Any pics? I'm at 3" lift, so :dunno: . That's precisely why I got the ACOS.......3" up to 4" and I still rub. I'm a little wider and I'm not on stock wheels......but.........
  3. My 285/60/18 is close to your desired size, I rub. Will be ordering Bushwackers in the next week, waiting for sale. Last thing I wanted to do is cut.
  4. Yeah, I know, I have one of each. My bad.
  5. Yeah, well, I like my mess.
  6. What HV pump? Never heard of that. I've been running the Hesco HV pump in my stroker for about ten years now with no problems in the installation or running it all those years. Melling M167HVS. :dunno: Yes, Melling has a HV pump for both 4.0 and 2.5, same pump. I doubt you will load the top end and starve the sump on a 4.0.....5 qts. But the 2.5???? maybe, but I doubt that too. They say to smooth out the head and oil returns and paint, to help return to sump.....screw that. His bearings are pissing and $#!&ting anyway, the least of his worries is flooding the upper with oil. First I heard of it not fitting though.
  7. You'll be fine. Do it once and you'll be an old pro. Really, it's not that difficult at all. Just take your time centering the clutch plate, the rest is just a matter of going through the motions.
  8. Yeah, you get it. :)
  9. MrGasket is bottom of the barrel quality.......that said, they should be fine. I have no idea why you are hung up on the bolt though? The fly wheel bolts are taking shear, not necessarily clamping forces. Unless they are damaged, the original bolts will be fine.
  10. Wu-tang says read and study more. :???: Common info found all over the place. Spend time reading.
  11. Oil pump is on the passenger side of the block about in the middle. Image Not Found
  12. Here and elsewhere.......seems rather pointless anymore......... 5-30 is way too light an oil for a worn out engine. I can tell you what works- 40W and a quart of Lucas. If you want to get a few more miles out of it. We have no pics, no idea how your engine has been maintained........nothing.........only chatter, and now knocking......at idle. I could be that your pump cannot keep up at idle or the pump is worn out.......or full of sludge at the pick up screen and is starving.......who the hell knows? It'll cost you about $40 to find out, or break it down and replace with a HV pump........or you may be $#!& out of luck already.
  13. This is in my backyard.....but this is the kind of ad that I look for.
  14. Between you and Charlotte........the XJ capitol of the country. More there than anywhere. You should be able to find a good donor core for about $200 and build at your leisure......then swap.
  15. I will add to others...... Rebuild it. You do it, it's yours and you know what's in it.
  16. Could be the blower motor itself and or the resistor.
  17. No chrome??
  18. Good for you!!!!!! :)
  19. OK. So even the flats require some cutting? And the cutouts fit well in the rear as opposed to the flats? Guess it's the cutouts then. And in the end you are happy with fit and finish? Thanks
  20. I've done plenty of welding outside with a shielded mig. Don't do it on a windy day or block the wind.
  21. The bumper is worth the $1000. Week and a half........it won't be there.
  22. Ryan, can you help me with a quandary? Flats or cut-outs? You've done both, I'm hoping you can offer some perspective as to what would work best for me, I'd rather not cut if I don't have too. 32s on 18x9 with about a 4'' lift. Thanks
  23. I have no idea. Call them......steering is all they do, if anyone knows or can help you, it's them.
  24. Your only hope is here- http://www.flamingriver.com/index.php/products/c0011/s0004/FR1543
