I dont know wtf is wrong...
relyt120 replied to relyt120's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Had a auto parts coupon bout to expire so I thru a new fuel pressure regulator on, been try in to take as many bumps as possible trying to induce the issue but nothing so far, if you read the thread you'll see I've said this like 3 times then it just happens but so far so good.....I hate an issue I can't easily test if its still occurring. Either way :crossfingers: -
I just picked up some rear speaker brackets, that go in the rear pillar near the floor behind the seats, if you need them shoot me a pm and we can work something out.

So my local JY got a 91 Comanche on the lot the other day so the next morning I headed out to see what I could get. I was hoping for a hitch or maybe a spare bed but I came away with several other goodies instead. That's a headliner and back wall carpeted board that's a set of PERFECT taillights a '91 TL harness, a fan shroud, and a set of black vinyl visors that's a decent black tailgate, and a complete set of MJ specific interior plastic in grey Though I didn't find exactly what I was hoping for I did come away with plenty of goodies and wanted to share my happiness with all of you... because my stupid friends and family do not share my enthusiasm for my fifth spare tailgate and another pile of parts :rotf: Hey if you see something you are dying to have shoot me a pm and we can work something out, except the tail lights I'm keeping those! Anyone else ever go in hoping for one thing and score something unexpected yet still awesome?

Permanent Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge
relyt120 replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
This seems perfect to help me diagnose my intermittent over fuelling issue, is there another source for the fitting? The link in op is broken, no wonder after 4 years though :rotf: -

I've never been able to do a fuel pressure test while it was happening so my test may be irrelevant, I'll try to get one when it happening and I'll check the plugs too. Thank you all for replying, I hate having contempt for my mj on the side of the road... -

UPDATE: worst episode yet happened on my way home from the store, white smoke was billowing out from beneath the truck, assuredly from the cat which glows red when the issue occurs, I never could get it to come out of it. At this point I have replaced the fuel filter, map and o2 sensors and checked the spark plugs and ruled out the fuel pump, I get steady fuel pressure (used a gauge and everything). I am really at a lost and very lucky no one has run me off the road as I inch down it at 5mph trying to get home. If you have ever had this problem please let me know how to resolve it, I'm getting desperate and will to try anything. -
Hey all i found this under a jy mj , ive looked at pics of other axles and i can't tell which this is. If someone could educate me on this matter it may be worth picking up. Thanks!!

No, Loosen the trim and put the new one in right behind the old one you are removing to hold the crevice open. -
Quadcab Comanche - Co
relyt120 replied to johnny quest's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Cool but I've always thought that the 4dr looked strange, I wonder if anyone ever did an 2 door xj version with some kind of flip down seat on the back wall for a more extended cab kind of set up, that I would be interested in! -
Installed 97+ door seals, a bit hard to shut the doors but definitely a better seal and quieter!

That's really cool, all I have is this I found in the jy:
-
Number one upgrade: Late model brake master cyl and booster, just did mine and you would not believe the increase in stopping power!

Got bed back from the paint shop, pretty happy with it. Will be even happier when I get it bed lined.

Nice

Okay I'll shoot for that range then. I Appreciate it.

I found someone locally willing to sell me their rear disk assembly from an 03 liberty. How much should I consider this part worth before I negotiate? Your guidance is appreciated. relyt120
