H3Resq's Family Wagon Xj Build.....
H3RESQ replied to H3RESQ's topic in Member Projects: Other Cool Stuff
That should not be a problem, not sure what shipping would be from Wa to you. The front corners are great, the rears are good but do have some scuffs that have been touched up (specifically the passenger rear). I will be tearing down both bumpers, and will not need them. When you see I have got to that point shoot me a p.m. about them. -
Project "Black Betty"
H3RESQ replied to shelbyluvv's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
I'm truly not sure if its good or bad that I am seriously considering this deal! My only hold back is the amount of $ I am about to dump into the 01 XJ. I'm sitting home thinking yesterday, how much more over $2000k and just ship the whole truck...... Yes, it would look très apropos on your pristine MJ. Because I feel magnanimous tonight, a special deal just for you is in order. This no longer available Reflexxion XJ/MJ cowl hood can be yours for a mere $2K, local pickup only. If shipping is required, I will build a custom crate with the hood braced and copiously bubble wrapped inside. An additional $500 should cover this. You may choose the freight company of your choice, and the merchandise is guaranteed to arrive in the same perfect condition as shipped, provided adequate insurance is arranged before shipping. -
Crap, I need to spend more time on facebook, and less on here?

Project "Black Betty"
H3RESQ replied to shelbyluvv's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
So here is the thing. If that hood goes to any "bloke" it should be me. Its pretty much the right color, not to aggressive (to tall) and would be most aprapo on my MJ. Just sayin.... -
:teehee: ah shucks. I wish I could loan you the dimple dye, those braces would look sick with holes cut in them as you mentioned, but even better dimple dye'd. Really does look good. Really like that you are hiding the A pillar cross brace in the dash, way better than in line of site above dash. Most would not take the time......

Horrible Front End Shake Need Help Asap
H3RESQ replied to michaelgoesrawr's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
SOunds like you got it fixed, but you might as well check the bolts on your steering box and track bar drop bracket. Also, you said your ball joints were good...but did you check for play with the tires jacked up off the ground? Cheers, Jason -
This is a XJ question, but considering the amount of swaps done here thought I would ask. I was told that in the factory wiring there is the ability to add a "idle up" button to the center console. Heard it was wired into harness because of police vehicles. (maybe specific to 97 and newer) I'm considering this for both my "99" MJ and my 01 XJ. Basically what it is suppose to do is when you hit the button the idle goes up 400-500 rpm. I just think if its true it would be a great thing for winch sitiuations, night wheeling situations, setting up camp in dark using vehicle lighting to see etc. Anyone know about this? Cheers, Jason

A truck that nice should be a short bed. That is the collector look. Look at old c series chevys. Everyone wants the short beds. Long beds are work trucks, and that truck is to nice to use as a work truck. Would be sick as a METRIC TON and wish the doors were still stock. I consider it less valuable with the changes he made. Wish it was bone stock. I think he wants $9000 that's just a guess though. -
Reason has them on his MJ. I saw them in person, look great, work great. I also have a couple friends running the round version on there jeeps. They work great and one has a original set of the the 7 led style rounds. Still in great shape and all the LED's work. They are the bomb.

I'm really interested to see how the flat paint holds up to dirt, grim, and washing. Just curious if using a quality flat like this deal with the issue of it looking uneven after time. Keep up the good work! -
That's right, I remember a post some were on here about her being on that football team. Very cool. Here is our newest member to the family, chilling in the Comanche. Due to allergies we had to go with a hypoallergenic breed. Meet Griffin our 9 and 1/2 week old Miniature Shnauzer... here at 8 weeks old when we first got him...

Terawombat: I can't believe you gave her age (the female human) on a public forum. That's a no,no. lol.

I think that is a ford ranger extended cab window.
-
You know what bugs me the most, or equally to the mix of the bed gap/no gap area. The vent behind window should have been removed or located behind the extended cab window. It just looks so wrong in between the windows.

YEs, if it is off a 4 door.
