swapped from 10-40 to 5-30 oil, junked the remaining fram filters and tried a wix out. oil pressure went up almost 5-8 psi but I'm contributing that to the oil, on the other hand seems like my valve train click has quited down quite a bit

these little trucks get alot of attention when they are lifted and looking good looks like yours is coming along nicely. what else do you have to do?

thanks for the advice/ complements. looking for a upper control arm mount lastnight i read something about getting it redhot, just seems like that would warp the crap outta it (the c's) and cause pre-mature balljoint failure down the road :hmm: either way i have new axles going in once H3RESQ commits to the sale.. :D

unsure of how hot it should have been. i tacked it then heated it hot to the touch with a torch, then started welding around not letting it get too hot. i was more worried about warping it and didnt really think of it being cast :dunce: i did atleast cover it with a fire blanket and let it cool

getting a little better, also alot nicer machine and 220v and after and hr of stick welding with 7018 today they don't look horrible. now starting and stopping is the next skill i need to work on

did you press the metal bushing out a little on the motor mount? mine didnt look like that and vibrates quite a bit in cab, even with the ultra flex

wasnt to impressed with it. alot of the pictures were a bit pixel'y from re-sizing them, very few pictures worth looking at. guess i should have looked thru the past mj's of the month. lastyears calander was more interesting than this years, just my opnion

those outter seals are junk in my opnion. i put a set on my zj and the mj, both with a good amount a rtv to seal it in and both sets always spin out.

mine has power windows :D and i prefer driving the mj over my 05 GLI. in my line of work being a union millwright pays very well but the work comes and goes. just cause you get a few good paychecks in a row doesnt mean next week youll get one so i have the mentality if i can't afford it cash i can't afford it
