Stopped by for a quote and they got me in immediatley. I have 2 1/4" clearance for when the springs flatten out and it is soo much quieter inside the cab with a nice rumble out back. I kept the tip just behind the quarter panel incase a obstacle wacks it, it has room to move .

gear ratio questions
cody4359 replied to dustyinthedirt's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
4.0/aw4 4.88 on 33", looking for some 35" -
By chance do you have a picture of it? I too, am a easy wheeler and i like shiny stuff so a nice chrome exhaust tip will go on. I also have a header and a flowmaster 50 cutoff under the bed, so routing it back further and out is what I'm after
-
Thinking a getting some exhaust work done soon. I'm leaning twoards having it routed out the passanger side, thru the leafspring just below the bed. I have yet to flex it out and get exact clearances, but it looks like it should fit. Has anyone else ran they're exhaust like this?

cody4359 replied to floundering's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have (don't quote me on exact year) 94-97 dodge dakota tank and fuel pump/sender. Reads accurate with my 97+ dash and i believe its a 26 gallon tank. -
I overheated while trying to adjust my programable fans. Thermostat stuck open and made me run to cold, put a new oem thermostat in an going uphills its gets hot. I checked the hose and it seems the tstat is stuck closed. Could be one culprit on yours?

Looking good man! can't wait to go for a ride once the supercharger is in

Looks good! Nice idea on the tubing. Ive thought the same thing about the leverage so i got a stick of uhmw and made it for the lower coil bucket, but the tubing looks more professional

How do you like the Zeiss? I ended up having gun/ scope issues ive been fighting. Ended up pulling the vortex HS LR off my ar to get me thru my trip to montana. Leupold had better glass and eye relief, but was a 1" tube. The vorte is a 30mm tube and 42mm obj. Which i like better. When i get back I'm going to be hunting for a better scope. I had a good day, last week. 200 yards off a sandbag with hornady 139 gr. far right was my 2nd shot and i definatley pulled if not for that it would have been a good group

Pics are all gone so i can't admire anything

Well i have running light and reverse lights but no blinkers or tail lights. Looking at my taillight sockets they and the wires have seem much better days. I need a tail light harness which unplugs just below the bed. Please be in good condtion. I believe at some point this plug changed but i forget what year. I have a 87, and my 88 seems to look identical.

Repalced the savage with a 7mm rem. mag Tikka T3 light. The first gun wouldnt group, so after 6 boxes of shells thru it i took it back and they swapped me out for another. Put a Bell and Carlson stock on it and I'm grouping at about 1.5" at 100 yrds with 175gr federal soft points. So far only 13 rds thru it
