  1. WOW I'm thinking it its a lock. scratching these things off my Christmas list. thanks for the feedback guys
  2. welcome
  3. I have been thinking of getting a set of these but not sure of the drivability on highway. will I need to get extended shocks, do they really provide the down travel they appear to give, are there any drive shaft issues??? right now in sitting on hell creek 3.5" leaf packs and a stock drive shaft and stock T-case
  4. try sprinkling the inside with talcum powder. once the water starts to flow you will be able to trace where it cam from.
  5. as you know mine is not a DD but I have had the same 2 unit bearings in mine for 3 years. probably have 5000 on them with no issue
  6. after pulling out the stock vinyl floor cover and the soaking wet stock felt sound/heat insulation I vowed to never put that felt crap in again. I use closed cell foam pads under the new liner. it dose help a lot with the road noise but not so good with heat. I wheel my truck but typically will not take it out if its going to be in the upper 80's. rolling slow thru the woods I think I could bake bread in the cab.
  7. if you get the vinyl carper don't try to install it in January  . you will need to make some cuts in it, any notches you need make use a round punch about 1/4" on dia and heat it up hot enough to pierce holes in the corners, these round holes will keep the corners from tearing
  8. I took a trany and t-case out of a 94 wrangler and the t-case was clocked differently. I needed to take the tail piece off the mj original trany and put it on the 94 to get the clearance needed on the drivers side
  9. mine has been out 3 different times, all 3 times everything lined up perfectly.
  10. this IS cool
  11. yup $50 a year for vanity historic plates in Ohio 87 MJ

  13. do you know Wellsville/ yellow Creek on the Ohio river? although you would be hard pressed to find a stocker friendly trial there

remember what ever you do it has to be at night so you get all of them. during the day half if not more are away from the nest. if you put the seven dust in and around the hole about 5 or 6 oclock all of the workers will track the dust into the nest at quiting time

on a side note diatomaceous earth can also be very effective for ants. it may work on yellow jackets but I'm not sure

  18. in 5th at 65 to 70 its turning 3000 to 3500 on the factory tach. I don't like to run above 3000 for long periods of time. oh and it takes just a bit to get her wound up to that speed. as long as you can anticipate smaller hills and you can keep the rpms up it runs fine on the interstate. country roads are a bit harder to maintain speed but a down shift to 4th will usually keep you crusing
  19. well I can tell you with a total of 4" short arm lift that I have, you can kiss the nice comfy stock ride good by but overall the ride is not bad. mostly the rear rides about the same. I did not notice much of a ride difference with the 800# in the back but my 4 squirls made it clear not to pull out in front of any body lol. I'm currently running the 8.8 with 4.56 gears on 32" tires. its a very usable combo in IMHO. I can still use 5th gear on the highway and off road she still climbs like a goat and it gets about 18 to 20 mpg.
  20. I have the 3" hell creek springs on mine. although I don't haul with it normaly I have had up to approx 800# in the back and it held up ok
  21. c
  22. I have a few sets of these axles some do just have a bushing in the end
  23. That would make me nervous. I'd have to get the lock one... I have one on my XK under the skid plate its a great time saver. it dose have a very good positive lock on it. as far as the time cert I just checked out there web site. it looks like it will work, for the pan I guess it depends on how much over size you have to drill. as long as it stays within the thicken boss of the original plug it should work as well as your last experience with it
