95 brake booster upgrade
offroader461 replied to MJohnny's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
No i didnt have to grind drill or cut anything...i also used the 96 pedal assembly which mounts the brake light switch in front of the pedal so when its up the switch button is pushed in and the lights are off...when you depress the pedal the switch button comes out and the lights are activated..unlike the older style which sits on that flat spot against the pedal arm -

i had the same smittybuilt bumper one my MJ and it saved the back of it when i was rearened: A car doing 50mph didnt stop...plowed into my buddies longbed 2wd chevy which then plowed into me causing me to center punch a Honda Accord into the intesection....i had smittybuilts front and rear..only damage to my truck was the rear bumper went under the truck and took out my exhaust and then my KC on the front were destroyed
-
Well i thought the MJ was almost done then i came home today to find the drivers side floor was completly soaking wet... :headpop: pulled the carpet up to find out after the rain storm yesterday i developed a water leak that now has caused me to rip out all the interior (carpet, seats, all mouldings and the console)...i have to sand the floor down, prime and then i will put some liner down then re-install my interior... What else can go wrong

there are 4 bolts that hold the tilt portin down to the lower part of the column and what happens is that they didnt use loctite on them and they back off causing the loose column...i took mine apart and put some threadlocker on them and tightend them up and havent had a problem since  -
