i have thought about it alot...especially putting one in the XJ when the motor poops out :brows: but the price of desiel is ridiculously high could always run BIO-Desiel :D :D

ITS ALIVE!!!!! Re-checked the timing and it was slightly off...spend 30min trying to get it right and first flip of the key she fired right up!! I'm so relieved that it runs but now about 1500 RPM it starts to stumble and backfire...and ideas on that??

Its way over-priced and not worth it IMO...i have seen it personally and didnt like it....plus he doesnt offer any of his bumpers anymore

here is my 2.5" flowmaster here's what it sounds like i would do this to my XJ but since its a more of a "build on the cheap" I'm just gunna put on a Cherry bomb from AutoZone

-yea the plugs got fuel all over them so i switched them out with a new set -MAP line is good -Crank sensor is brand new Ill check the fuseable links..never thought of that

The timing isn't great though. I might have to pay to store it. Or not. I know I could leave my dodge in secure parking at the airport (employees get free secure parking) when I'm on tour, and leave the XJ there the rest of the time. That way I can get away with only using one parking space at my apartment (I only have one). I know how ya feel...ive had to pass on several GREAT deals on XJ's and MJ's due to still being at home and with my dads and moms vehicles in the garage and my MJ broken in the driveway, my brothers busted S10 in the street and my XJ also in the street there is just no more room...can't wait to get my own place in DEC

hmmm...ill check that but i think its fine...replaced it last year for emmissions purpose :mad: all suggestions are helpful to narrow it down :cheers:

ehaust is good....it finally quit completely running b4 i did the distributor change over and it was put back the right way...so i know its not the distributor....and no i had the engine rebuilt about 25-30K b4 and i know it didnt jump the timing chain...see my delima LOL

Update: here's what ive done to try and get the MJ running... -New CPS -checked computer (good) -Changed distributor (for cam sensor) -Cleaned ALL the grounds -checked fuel pressure (38 PSI) -changed plugs -checked coil/moduale(getting spark) when you turn the key it wants to start but just won't...I am getting spark and fuel but just can't seem to get my poor truck to start..HELP!?!?!? :cry: :cry:

probably time to replace it

Wow..been a while! here's a quick update (WILL POST PICS SOON) the deal on my rear axle fell through so it still got 3.55's and the turdy-5 :oops: -got my tow-hooks and brackets in with the "L" bracket frame brace -install the roof bar and 4 Kc's -Put in some MJ shackles to level it out -Got my ROCK SLIDERS on!!! -installed my new rear shocks and bumpstops -installed RE gen2 disco's -installed fixed vent windows -replaced the front door panels -installed Aurora back-up lights in the liftgate -C/B is in and wired up -installed my 32x11.5 R15 BFG A/T's NEXT ON THE AGENDA: -custom front bumper -4.10's front and rear with 8.25/D44/8.8 -install trans cooler and temp guage -swing-out tire carrier -also changing the exhaust...the muffler is offset/offset instead of center/offset so the tailpipe CONSTANTLY rubs on the leaf spring...so I'm putting on a single in/dual out magnaflow with turndowns and call it good!! PICS TO COME!!
