New steering wheel leather?
fiatslug87 replied to pago cruiser's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I purchased a custom shift boot from them for my wife’s FJ Cruiser, perfect fit and nice quality leather. From what I remember they are actually located in Croatia (?). If you get this please post any feedback here. -

@Pete M please move to 91 registry. Thanks

Try removing the linkage at the t-case and see if you can move the piece on the t-case. If the t-case moves adjust the linkage or switch to a Boostwerks or Azzys linkage.

Keep in mind the connectors changed in the 90 model year. See this thread. -
There are two 2WD MJs in Northern California Pick-and-Pulls (Stockton and Windsor) if you’re in that area.

Not like the fronts, but there are some that look like this. Unfortunately no new ones are available. There are also a pair of splash shields.

I bought four from Rockauto after reading that, just came across them today looking for other things. They would not ship to California so I had them sent to eaglescout526 and he sent them to me. -
He’s a cute little guy, for now. Congrats

Control arm length question
fiatslug87 replied to fiatslug87's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks for the replies. I just looked at my other truck, at stock height the upper control arm is higher at the axle than the frame. As the axle is initially dropped straight down (to keep it centered) the arm length decreases then increases as it’s lowered more. I thought it was level to start with. -
I came across the attached control arm length list, why would lifting 2-3” require shorter upper control arms? Just trying to make sense of things.
