Test the CPS and look at the connections. Try jumping the fuel pump ballast resistor, driver side fender at the front. Also check the connections behind the driver kick panel. Mine was loose and would intermittently not start but if I slammed the door it would.
I’ve had this one for 25+ years, as you can tell from the faded red top, and is made by Rubbermaid. Our city offers curb side oil recycling during trash day, they provide gallon jugs so the oil doesn’t stay in the catch container.
They go behind the knee panel, behind the grill things and look like this. They did not come in MJs but can be added by splicing into the front speaker wiring.
Thanks @GonzoTheGreat but this is on a trailer and pulled by a non-MJ, no access to brake switch wiring.
Anyone have another work around taking the above into account?
If worse comes to worse, it flashing with the turn signals isn’t the end of the world. Besides how often do people signal anyway?
Yes he did, plus my wife is a fishing savant, she fished wiring for our house and my sport bar.
I’ve also been leaning towards the topper for several reasons, I guess I just wanted validation.
