  1. Hey Wade, how long have you been living so close to Santa Cruz? I think it's worn off on you. I think it's 4:20. :brows:
  2. I would say that's a pretty good price. I had some done a couple of years ago for $65 each.
  3. I have a couple of these, if anyone wants one it's yours for the price of shipping, just PM me.
  4. Bandimere Speedway (Colorado) elevation is 5860 feet, that's why the NHRA event is called the MOPAR Mile-High Nationals (even though it's more than a mile). That's tough on horsepower.
  5. This looks like the one I PDFed. How do you link it?
  6. Come on guys, someone must know what this is! :wall:
  7. The oil filter neck can be removed. There's either a Torx or hex head bolt that runs through it perpendicular to the block. If you do end up removing it, you should replace the three O-rings that are in there to avoid leaks.
  8. These are the tow hooks/brackets I picked up at the JY of an XJ a couple weeks ago. Hornbrod, I might surpass you on the chrome!! :rotf:
  9. I was under the '88, 4.0L, 5-speed MJ today and noticed a bare stranded wire that goes nowhere in the knock sensor harness. Does this belong some where? I see two wires that go to the knock sensor connector that are intact. On my other two MJs, the wires that lead to the knock sensor have a sheath over them and the wires are not visible. The MJ does develop a "rattle" above 2500 RPM in any gear, even neutral. Is this loose wire the cause? Any help is appreciated.
  10. Welcome, and I was just kidding about the 1/8 mile. :rotfl2: Where do you run? I'm 23 miles from Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) in Sonoma California, the drag strip here is 20 feet above sea level  . You need to come out here!!!
  11. Boy I feel very, very old. :( I was six when The Andromeda Strain movie came out!!!
  12. Cool pic Pete. My wife is really into insect photography and has taught some entomology classes. Where was this taken?

  14. 4M is a correct paint code for '87 American Motors, it's listed as Charcoal Poly at http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/ and as Wildman posted above.

  16. It should be there, maybe it got pushed behind the side kick panel? All of mine were there, two wires black & pink on both driver and passenger sides.

  18. My '90 4.0 has had that same connector not hooked up since it was new. I still don't know what it's for after 18+ years.

  20. It's actually all Budweiser products that give false positives, I think it's the Beechwood :rotfl2: . In my previous job I developed tests for drugs of abuse such as THC, PCP, ecstasy, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepine. Ahh fun times.
