I'm not too concerned with strain on the cable, I have a support hanger that I pulled from an '86 MJ. It slips into the keyholes on the frame. This is what it looks like, I guess I should find it and measure it. :dunce:

Will a 255/75-17 tire fit in the spare space under the bed?

Same as you and in the back of the MJ, under a tarp. :nuts: Luckily I was using Oxy-Acetylene, no splattering.

Those are for the front. If you actually looked at the website you would see that the description says they sell the front AND rear bumper end caps. XJs with the Jenson Accusound system had 1.5" speakers (tweeters) in those locations. The mounts are part of the speakers (actually rivetted to the speakers) and are slighy different for each side. '88-'90 MJs (probably more) do not have wiring for these, they need to be spliced in. Here are a couple pictures.

Don't know all the colors but, the map pockets are screwed in from behind the panel, no need to "cut above" and "tuck behind."

Just a question, can the truck be placed on jack stands, started, placed in 4WD and see if the front wheels rotate? If they don't check if the front shaft rotates. Or will this not work and/or cause damage? I also don't know much about 4WD.
