  1. OK, I stand corrected. They look better than they did in my mind's eye. But I think I would go bigger with that much lift.
  2. What are you seeing as differences?
  3. Too much lift for 31's. Mine is on 31's. It was stock height and now 2" lift. 6" would look weird with that small of a tire.
  4. I know not to run it in 4wd on dry pavement. I do have an account on ebay, Was really asking is there a brand to buy that is preferred or more important not to buy. I will check quadratec. I like them anyway.
  5. Because I didn't know it would be as simple as a chain. LOL! Where is a good place to check for chains? Thanks!
  6. It would appear the friggin' transfer case is popping. Chain perhaps? Did it a year or so ago. Got one out of a junkyard and now this one is doing it. How new of a 231 can I put into this thing? What fits? I don't want to get another "old" one again and have it last only a year.
  7. I have had a couple of sets of BFG's. Good Tires. I now have Cooper AT3's on the TJ. Love Them! Quieter on the street, and do way better in the rain on the street. And they are reasonably priced. They seem to have a really good grip off road for an AT. Another plus is they are like the only tire still manufactured in the US.
  8. Promised tow hook pics: And my free 8 ball shift knob!
  9. I just installed some tow hooks on the front. I will post pics later. Didn't have camera or phone in the barn. What a pain in the arse! I did not have any brackets. I welded some 1x1 square tubing under the frame and used the existing holes to mount them. Then I had to notch the lower air dam or what ever you call that piece of plastic under the bumper to clear them. They turned out good, but definitely more work than I planned. And, I love the Dakota seats! What a difference!!!!!
  10. Just took a little fab work...
  11. Dakota seats in mine. Sit much higher, But I love them. I could lower them some, but I like them where they are.
  12. 200 bucks! Man I wish I could run across something like that! Wanna sell it?
  13. Pics?
  14. I think the 4 doors look a bit weird. I would really like to see a cab and a half. With the 6 ft bed I think would look just right.
  15. I need some more cards! And anything else you want to throw my way!
  16. I have a 500 ft driveway, so the answer is a lot! But we only have 2. 3 if you count the grand daughters power wheels.
  17. Converted mine from aw4 to ax-15. All 3 of our cars, MJ, TJ and Focus are manuals. As is of course is the V2K.
  18. Seats turned out great! Put some paint on the brackets and put them in and then cleaned them up. They sit a few inches higher than the stock seats. I like that better, actually. So does the wifey! Seats are firm and comfy. Love them! They are from a 4 door, so they do not fold forward. But they slide forward a lot so I can still get stuff behind them. And they recline! Bonus is the console between the seats that is also a seat for the granddaughter. But keep that in mind if you decide to do this. They are out of a 2001. There were no cup holders built in as there are in some. That's OK though, the home made cup holders that my wife put in originally she is in the process of modifying. So I will have cup holders again soon. . :MJ 1: .
  19. OLD Seats Actually look good in pics, but driver side is broken down. Felt like I would roll out of the truck. Let the grinding begin! Brackets turned out great and the seats fit like a glove!
  20. Got a new seat from a 2001 Dakota at the bone yard. Couldn't find a decent headliner board. Now for the fab work. :wrench:
  21. New Windshield! Now I have a rear view mirror again! May be buying new seat soon and headliner! Wife gave me some funds for my birthday exclusively for the old Mule!
  22. New Pics. 2" lift on pucks in front and Chevy Drop Shackles on rear. Old 31" tires on Gamblers. And here it is prior to the lift...
  23. Captiva is the Saturn. When they closed Saturn, they kept the model. Just changed the name and the badging. Kind of when Chrysler closed Plymouth and kept the Neon. Just changed it to Dodge Neon instead of Plymouth Neon. The PT Cruiser was supposed to be a Plymouth as well, but they closed it before the introduction.
  24. And throw some of the fiero too. I used to have 2 of them. An 85SE with the 2.8 and an 88 formula. That one was nice. Fun cars. Just needed more power. (Though I say that about most everything)
