I would have, but I put them all in the same dish as I scoop them out. I've found that if I cheese them all up, I end up with some no cheese, and some doubled when they get to the counter... Rob thats why you don't stack em man! ill use several plates if i have to. or since everyone is gathering like vultures anyway, just go straight from the grill to the bun  you can grill though, so you get the props :chillin:

SW86 replied to coon.hunter_21's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
ive also been thinking about cutting mine out. it has huge dents in it and was almost ripped off anyway. i guess it still works correctly :dunno: :rotf: -
tip, right before the burger is about to be done, put the cheese on! itll be melted on the burger and will taste way better than a cold piece of cheese thrown on at the last minute.

rough country suspension kit question
SW86 replied to Guanaco.13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yes. enough said lol. and its is a really expensive sway bar that doesnt limit travel but keeps the body sway on rocks limited. its really a good idea for one. tons of guys down here run them and they really do what they are supposed to. -
just aligned it for the first time  yeah i sounded like a total noob just then but hell it hasnt needed to be done before!

rough country suspension kit question
SW86 replied to Guanaco.13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
id say leave it if you don't offroad hardcore. who doesnt like that baja look :brows: ps. the add a leaf that comes with the rough country kits are for a cherokee and you won't get anything from it. buy new packs from hell creek or somewhere along those lines. all a shackle will do for you is keep those $#!&, wore down leafs and give you a slight bump. not worth it in my mind. Boots, why even run a sway bar? sure it actually does something but if your not hauling @$$ everywhere and taking corners like a mad man, your good. i havent run one ever since i had the truck. if its really an issue with you, buy anti-rock from currie -
yeah the jeeps guys down here really dig it. its got me thinking about it

all of that could be repaired. if it goes to the crusher someone deserves to have their @$$ kicked.

2 WD Ball Joints replacement/ parts & labor ?
SW86 replied to vaquaro's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
i used the one from autozone and there was no time limit. ive also used the one from harbor freight and they are exactly the same thing. its like 69 bucks to buy from harbor freight and 106-109 after tax from autozone. which you get every penny back when you take it back. itd be worth having if you had the extra cash but if not i wouldnt sweat it. -

its easy to do. a few hours and both sides could be done for a hell of a lot less than any shop -

i like the supersliders they have. no other options besides those two companies? theres always making my own i guess. kind of tempted to cut the rockers and weld a piece of steel to the cab.
-
ordered my radiator yesterday. then started working on a truss for the 30 and control arm skids :brows:
-
where can i pick up a set of sliders? would ones for an XJ fit? I'm really only worried about covering the cab part up since the bed is already beat down a little. thanks

i play all the basic instruments, guitar, bass, drums. did have a harmonica and started to play the piano. neither went far. i still have about 9 guitars and 2 basses. two guitars are still in project phase and some just need to be tuned up again. been playing since i was about 14 when i met up with some guys who played metal. tried drums first, instant natural on them. wanted to jump around more so i went to guitar. after jumping and head banging nonstop for quite awhile i wanted to "slow down" and groove. so i went to bass. easy as $#!& to play. never really played in a band as a bassist but ive jammed out tons of times as one. now days i play on occasion when i get bored or the MJ doesnt require my attention. i just kind of fell out of music for the time being really. no interest in joining a band or starting one anymore. its that time of year again so I'm back in the "wheeling, guns and camping" phase. just picked up another little bang bang toy yesterday as a matter of fact :chillin:

always offer half of what the asking price is on something like that. more than likely they will come back with an offer a little above it. id buy that thing hands down.

88 Comanche (My Style)..."The Blue Truck"
SW86 replied to ComancheKid45's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
I cleaned up the new shafts free of any small burrs around where they ride in the seals, and filled the diff to spec, drove around for awhile then topped off the diff after the "extra" fluid had made it into the Right side axle tube, the only difference between running the exterior seals is that the axle shaft on that side is completly submerged in fluid, the tubes were cleaned out (I'm not mudbogger so that was a bad deal) and Ive put over 300 miles on the truck since the install and Ive lost no fluid, those seals will hold just fine as long as you keep after em and grease them periodicly. Sure beats having to tear the internals back outta the front Diff. :wrench: yup ive got newer shafts with those same seals (except cooler black ones :D) and have had no issues. i know its not what they were intended for but they sure do a great job at it. you do need to clean out your tubes though. mine were filled with mud completely surrounding the shafts. not good. plus with the CAD opening its easy as $#!& to clean out the long side. i plated mine off after that. i also placed my grease nipples towards the truck not away because i still play in mud and that gets coated. plus it looks cleaner that way back on topic, sweet vents. what are you going to do about a drip tray? -
good stuff. which one did you get? post up pics on it for sure

Anyone running a rough country trac bar?
SW86 replied to TonyTiger113's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
had two and never had that problem. if you can get the castle nut on there when you tighten it, it should pull it into the hole enough. if not and it is a decent end, just open the hole a hair but it should pull it through :dunno: -
the itching doesnt really bother me. sometimes sure but if you just stay busy you won't think about it. luckily for me it just breaks out in small patches in one area. usually doesnt spread but most of the time i see it and jump on it immediately. the only time i really worry about it spreading is sleeping. even with medicine on i stick to a few sleeping positions the first few nights. after i know its past its peak. i go back to daily life.
