  1. nothing. its a 2.5, 4 speed, 2wd. :rotf:
  2. loving it. can't wait to see that finished. if it actually snowed around here, thats what camo id have
  3. well its doing it less now and the smoking from the VC has lessened. the motor feels strong to me but ill do a couple more things to see if i can get it to quit. if not, motor rebuild it is then. thanks
  4. i know a couple guys with the grabbers and they love them. great wear and performance.
  5. nope. 4.0. its gotten really bad. to the point of pouring out of the air box at the bottom and covering the whole underside of the truck. the hoses were clean and the valve inside the air box was slightly clogged but i cleaned it out. are both of those little hoses on the back of the air box supposed to have pressure/air going through them? the one coming from the valve cover does strong but the one running out of the box has nothing. the big hose running from the valve cover on the front has slight suction. should it be more? I'm trying to go wheelin' this sunday so it'd be nice if i could drive it there. thanks for the help
  6. just sick! love the (hidden?) winch mount and that huge @#$%in thing i assume is the rear bumper is awsome as hell. not a fan of the paint choice either but as stated above it will be a stand out for sure
  7. you just need to calm down and be happy with what you've got for now. is it even 4wd yet? i mean take care of the basics before you go all lift crazy. the money could be better spent else where. sorry not trying to be all :smart:
  8. I'm still sticking with my original, he has 8.5 inches of lift with a maxium of 8 inch bar. sure its only .5 of an inch but when its holding a entire truck center with it, I'm betting it was only a matter of time. simple solution, get the correct application for your rig. true it would of worked with your other 7 inch springs but not with the taller ones. there are other heims you can get to run with the RK bar. i don't want to throw out other company names because i can't quite remember correctly but they have a longer thread end and supposedly better built heims. just search and you should get answers. also i run the 4.5 - 6.5 RK bar and ive had no issues. when i go spring over in the rear and up the front, ill do one of two things. call and see if my bar is still good to go length wise and just get a longer heim end. or buy the 6.5 - 8 inch bar. be safe, don't cut corners. its your life and possibly other peoples on the line here
  9. so those are the 8.5 rustys coils right? last i recall the RK bar is only good or "recommended" up to 8
  10. what happened to Georgia?
  11. i know a couple guys have the rubi 44 in the front. a swap ive been thinking about doing myself. don't know how much work it would be though
  12. looks like a great start. are you not going with side rails?

    Three grill choices

 too bad we're driving MJs :D Hornbrod, i saw that you did that to your 8 slot and it does look better then with the extra chrome. might have to go that route
  14. a buddy of mine had a 96 ZJ and it was pretty good. i never had to work on it (oil change maybe) but it sure was nice having all that room both inside and in the engine bay. good score for that much. throw on a 3" lift, 33s and go cruise some trails. those things are beasts offroad.

    Three grill choices

the 21 came off a plain jane 92 two door XJ that wasnt even listed as in the yard. random find for sure. it is a lot of grill compaired to the others but as crazy as it is, its the one i went with for now. just to see if i like looking at it. its weird but different. thats what got me on it. ive got a black 8 slot and the original 8 slot camo'd out. which i think was black as well but i want chrome. it looks so much better then black for a grill
  16. i bet that cop was profiling your @$$ hard and just had to think of something to get you for. classic a$$hole move diggin the woofers man :chillin:

    My XJ is dead

thats a downer for sure. glad your wife is alive. how did she manage to loose control?
  18. well i finally scored my chrome 8 slot and while i was there i stumbled upon a chrome 21 slot as well. snagged both. well now I'm home and trying them on and really i can't decide which to run with. i like my 10 slot but always wanted an 8. now ive got a 21 that kind of has me interested in it. i figured id throw up some pics and let you guys help me out with your opinions. 8 slot 10 slot 21 slot its kind of like the 21 has too much going on but then again its weird in a good way to me. i love running my 10 because it looks right to me. the 8 looks as good as i expected but now ive got two other choices lol. what do you guys think???
  19. very nice. i love those freakin tires!
  20. there was some gunk in there but never enough to block off the whole hole. its dark though so ill give it another look tomorrow to make sure. the baffle is good. ive had to replace that cap before. it just started this and its gotten really bad. to the point of leaking down out of the air box and spraying all over the underside of the truck. i can explain the flooring it business. as of late a lot of slow people have been pulling out in front of me. so i have to pass because it really pisses me off to be stuck behind them. it also seems everytime i do theres someone coming the other way. hence hurrying up. otherwise id be cruisin' along without a care in the world 8) edit: found this link with a little more searching viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29406&p=295556&hilit=oil+blow+by#p295556 might give that mod a go.
  21. everytime i get on the gas to pass someone or get up speed in a hurry, theres always oil coming out of the oil fill cap and air tube hole. is that normal or could there be an issue there? thanks
  22. thats when you break out a few insane friends and go have some fun on their vehicles :D in all seriousness. that is messed up. sure drunk driving isnt cool but there is no call for that. i would have to call foul on that and seek some justice. even if it ended up being street justice
  23. i put 3-in-One oil on all the the hood release parts. kind of tricky on the latches but a straw works wonders getting in there.
  24. :chillin: bitchin' you guys really went all out the dude with the scene hair makes me laugh everytime. looks like a buddy of mine but i guess once you've seen one scene kid, you've seen them all
