I've got one you can have but it probably needs more than you want to do. Unless you can do your own work.
-
Are you needing one that requires NO body work? I'm assuming yes.

Ouch, that hurts. Wish they were bringing the 8 MJ's to me.

I drive my 2wd, but regret selling my 4x4. I've spent the last 2 years looking for another 4x4 somewhat reasonable and close. IDIOT. :wall:

3M 08090 is what I used on my Grands and my Comanche.

There is a front skid, more for the radiator and that area. We always just called it the front skid, my guess is that's what they're askin for. I might add, they're not common, my UpCountry model had skids, Orvis models had skids, other than those, they're hit and miss.

I got a fb and harness from an 89 Cherokee automatic(no m/c, so no leakage) and it looks brand new. Also the later model Cherokee fuse blocks are labeled with numbers instead, no biggie, but mine will look ariginal. I was originally going to replace the whole harness. Now I will remove and replace each wire one at a time, replacing corroded terminals as needed. It originally sounded to tedious, but now I'm convinced thats the way to go. Here's just one thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33703

Mine did it when cold, once warmed,ok. Got some off a 96 Cherokee. The passenger side is acting up again. They are available new from TeamCherokee. No amount of cleaning or lube helped mine.

Haven't written a check in 4 or 5 years, so no problem there. I had to work New Years Day and had to write reports, roster, etc., wrote 2011 once, and have been good since.

I've got a Magellan Crossover that does a pretty good job on the road and has off road capabilities. Hardly ever use it. And I love my Garmin GPSMP 62csx handheld. I have City Navigator on it, it doesn't talk at all(just beeps at turns) and thats all right with me. Pretty basic, but great off road capabilities. Magellon used to not have as many poi's as Garmin, not sure now, I haven't kept up with things. When I was Geocaching, Garmin was the way to go, but I think they've all upped their game since I quit it. Hard to beat the ole iPhone, it does a pretty good job as well. Read somewhere, Yahoo perhaps, that all the gps companies will be obsolete in 10 years due to smartphones.

I didn't want to splice A LOT of wires, so I got the dash harness. You'll have to remove the dash to do it. You'll need a flexible screw driver to remove the top panel of the dash. The rest is not too bad, ordinary tools, but I cannot recall the size of the sockets. I originally was going to replace some of the worst connectors in the box, but chose not to. I have plenty of connectors( I can send you a few) if you choose that method.

Do you need the entire length of the bed? I have a bed I will be cutting a wheel well patch out of. And I've kicked around cutting out the back end to hang on the wall of the garage.

It's not bad. You definitely sit lower and it's not supportive. People behind me said I looked like a little ole man, I'm 6'3". Anyway, I'll stick with the wingback buckets Ihave now.

Firefighter/EMT officer approaching retirement, then?, not sure yet.

I pulled a real nice harness at the pull a part out of an 89 automatic Cherokee to replace mine, cost $24.00. My fuse block is toast due to clutch m/c leakage. It's a lot of work, but better than trying to repair a harness.

rear view mirror fell off... again

Take a small piece of sandpaper and rough up just the spot where it mounts. Its a trick I learned when I worked at NAPA and have never had one fall off since. -
Vaccuum line for a 1990 jeep Comanche
KYMJ replied to codymanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
7151365 is the line from the valve cover to the intake. I included it because I just put one on my truck, mine was clogged up. -
Got 'em. I'll try to take them off today, the bolts won't come loose, I'll have to heat them.

I've replaced a number of these and am getting ready to put a 90 something on my 89. I'm going from memory and it's 345 in the morning  . You will need a phillips screwdriver to remove the grill and headlight doors, marker lights, a torx screwdriver with assorted bits for the support piece on top along with an 11mm socket( a 7/16 will work, I just looked at one in my garage), IIRC a 13mm socket for the bolts that bolt to the fenders, you'll need pliers to release the connectors for the wiring harness. So, basic stuff.

I like them. I love shoes, like a woman. I buy good shoes and take care of them and I don't care about the cost. Never had ECCOs before. Congrats on the promotion.

Got one , one side of the handle is broken from corrosion. Odd, it came off a rust free tailgate that is now on my truck. It will more than likely be thrown away.
