  1. I won this item, much to my surprise. Gonna make arrangements to go get it.
  2. I really like ZJ's and have had several. Didn't like the 1 WJ I owned. The good thing about your Orvis, that I'm sure you noticed, is skids and towhhooks. http://www.jeeporvis.com/
  3. I suggest a name change, nothing junky about that truck.
  4. Just received a call from my 21 year old son, yes I'm one of the old farts here, he has a start date for becoming the next Cat field service tech. I couldn't be happier or prouder. And, I feel like sharing. :clapping:
  5. I've seen a few, even some real nice ones, when I frequented the Grand Cherokee forums.
  6. If I hadn't have bought a TJ, I would still have 2. I ran out of parking places. I enjoy the MJ's more than the TJ.
  7. Very nice! Did you the bedliner on the fender flares and on the bottom? Also, is that Baltic Blue?
  8. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3942&p=36786#p36786
  9. I think in South Texas, but I don't recall having the Waggy front end, just the woodgrain. I tried to find him last night, I actually think he contacted me about buying my 4x4 when I sold it. I'll keep trying to remember/find his user name. IIRC the truck was pretty nice.
  10. Thanks!
  11. Cable and handle that you pull to release the parking brake. It bolts to the bottom of the dash.

    goofy jeep truck

Not so goofy truck, but way goofy price. Of course, I have'nt seen the frame job.
  13. Those are the NAPA #'s I gave: 7151366 and 7151367. So, you have several choices.
  14. If you want the vacuum lines like original, you can get Dorman or NAPA. The tube going to the rear of the valve cover is #BK 715-1365 at NAPA. The 2 halves off the vacuum harness are 715-1366 and 715-1367. The MAP sensor line I've only found at the dealer. Radiator hoses I found in town. Heater hoses will most likely have to be ordered. However, I was able to look at the stock of hoses at my local O'reillys and found really good replacements. I wish I would have taken the time to do a writeup on this. I'm usually too busy to wait until the next day for parts, I don't have 5 vehicles anymore.
  15. Nice color on the truck, first I've seen.
  16. Mine's hanging on by a few wires. Haven't figured out how to rig it, and can't find one still available for other vehicles that will adapt. Found a Dorman number but it's discontinued. So...anybody finds one during their trips to the jy, keep me in mind. I've only seen 2 Comanches at pull a parts in 6 years around these parts. I will strip EVERYTHING if I see one again. Thanks!
  17. Look for the lines coming out of the bellhousing, drivers side. You'll see the bleeder on one of them. You'll need a 9/16" and 1/4" wrench, at least that's what I used.
  18. Just bled mine, have someone depress the pedal and hold it down, then open bleeder. Repeat until air is out of system. Took me 10 or 12 times, don't rush it. Don't forget to check fluid after a couple of times. No adjustment that I'm aware of.
  19. Surprisingly close.
  20. WTB Emergency Brake Release. Having no luck finding one, guess it's no longer available?
  21. Don't have to, I've changed pumps twice without doing so. My first Comanche I bought from the dealer-major bucks. I bought the cheapo for about $70 or so(only one I could find in stock) for the current Comanche and I haven't had any problems with it(knock wood).
  22. I've run Castrol for years, but recently switched to Rotella. I've noticed less ticking, maybe my imagination.
  23. :agree: x2 on the relay, cheap at the parts store.
  24. A guess only-less than 1 in 10. LWD? odds go up :dunno:
