At the risk of flamage, I'll chime in. As a TJ owner, might be worth it for a 6cyl. Wouldn't pay that or anything for a 4cyl. All RioGrandes were 4cyl(and it does state that), I'm just not a fan. That's just me. Most people would recommend the same, but tons of them were sold w/4 bangers, so somebody likes them.

A Little Something Different With The Bed

:agree:  -
My wife had an EXP when we were dating in the early 80s, had already forgotten about it. She also had a Pinto, then a Chevette in collage. Poor taste in cars. She did have a cool 53 Plymouth in high school.

5sp, cool, never have seen one. Same here on the XJ's.

Ssbc Or Willwood Or.... Proportioning Valve

Removed mine several years ago and would like to go to the dual diaphragm as well. Not that ambitious anymore. Love the ZJ discs on my Wrangler, good luck! -

Reminds me that I need to get one. My brakes lock up way to easily in the rain. I'd be interested in a write up if you're so inclined when you install. -
Just ordered both vacuum harnesses and other assrted parts for several vehicles. The harnesses were $18 and change, everyone else wanted $21 and $28 for the harnesses. I like to buy from them when i'm ablt to plan ahead on repairs. Never had bad shipping costs. The only problem i've had was when i ordered front brake hoses, one was a re-boxed inferior hose, but still worked and it didnt come with the copper gaskets.

All I had was JEEPS, a Wrangler and 2 Grands. When I wanted a small truck I looked for another Ranger or S-10 and ran across a Comanche. Had forgotten about them, Had to have one.

Rear Brakes-Main Hardline Broken Above Gas Tank
KYMJ replied to JWARNE's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I didn't remove bed or tank to replace my brake lines. I had to use several short lines for mine, just get some unions for connecting sections. -
Now retired Firefighter working part time at an aluminum smelter in security, we have a fire truck and ambulance, i do security, fire EMS, Hazmat, confined space just like before, 20 25 hours a week

Monstaliner is pretty smooth, not what I'd call aggresive feeling. One thing I remember about the roll on that I didn't like-the 2nd coat goes on after a full 5 hours allowing the product to "skin" over. I kept having to pull chunks out after rolling. Spraying would be the way to go id you have the place to do it.
-
I did Monstaliner, doesn't look as good as 87warrior's but pretty close. I really like the look and like not haveing the plastic liner. 1 gal kit roll on 2 coats. It has chipped in a few places on the tailgate, so I'll have to buy a touchup kit.
-
I was able to patch mine using 2 pieces from 2 different Cherokee front fenders, free. Wasn't perfect, but pretty close(no one noticed but me), and was covered by the flare.
-
Been awhile since I've done one. Not sure about ALL vacuum lines, but definately doable without disconnecting the fuel line, I never disconnected it.

Brake Lights Not Working: Help Diagnose
KYMJ replied to Comanchemodder's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That was a quick answer by me @3am at work on crappy computer. Your fuse block looks pretty good. You going to have to get your test light out and trace wiring-power into fuse, power past fuse-power to switch, from switch, etc. check above(vaquaro's suggestion) sorry no easy answer on brake lights like the sockets for other problem. -
Brake Lights Not Working: Help Diagnose
KYMJ replied to Comanchemodder's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
New turn signal bulb sockets will cure the green dash indicator light problem. You say the brake light fuse is good? Does your fuse block show signs of corrosion from hyd fluid(clutch m/c)? The brake light fuse does not make good contact in my fuse block due to corrosion(still haven't fixed it yet) . I have to jiggle it now and then when I notice my brake light not working. Yes, I check often, don't want to get rearended. Check yours to see if its making good contact. Might be a possibility. -

Haven't had the time, sorry. -
Marlin .22 rifle and an 870 shotgun. Figured it was about time I owned a handgun, so I bought a Ruger MarkIII this week for the wife and I to take out and shoot and learn cheaply.
