  1. Wouldn't it be easier to move to a non-communist state?
  2. Snake oil
  3. with all due respect not knowing the 4.10/4.11 thing might indicate a need for farming this job out.
  4. Good to know. But if that is the case should there be an over flow reservoir? ***I am trying to figure what a po has done. ***** I was under the impression that the 1988 generation were factory closed systems. I would rather start over than repair a flawed system. Isn't that PO game fun? Regardless of rather you have the factory closed system or a converted open system it should have a reservoir or tank or something
  5. Good suggestions. Thanks folks. Unfortunately it is getting to the point that mods like a winch,etc.... Really turn your vehicle into a target
  6. What have some of you done to secure your hoods? My preference would be for something I could only use when I wanted to. Even a good way to route a chain/cable & padlock would be appreciated. In the same vein these things are really easy to steal with a flat blade screw driver and 45 seconds. I have a large on/off battery switch from one of my old bracket race cars that I can remove the handle from the actual switch. Unless someone else has a good idea I was going to mount it inline between the starter and the battery as I have the parts to do it on hand. Thanks
  7. I am not sure how a for sale ad for a vehicle that someone has no involvement in can offend someone to such a degree. It the seller gets it that is between the buyer and seller. It sounds like it may be personal? EDIT: I just saw that the truck sold with a deposit received. The price must not have been too crazy.
  8. Yes but wouldn't that short of a shock effect flex if nothing else?
  9. Why is a giraffe's neck so long? He's feet stink ( told to me be a 4 year old)
  10. That is a good price for a good set.
  11. And how many of the U.S. Teams relocated from Canuckia? If the Canadians supported the teams well enough financially they would not have moved. Sports are businesses and profits are the goal. I miss my local AA/AAA farm league team greatly although I have an NHL team (sort of) only 55 miles away in Columbus. I think that the folks up north are satisfied watching high-level club and pro hockey without the expense and all that comes with an NHL team game.
  12. Go to Barnes 4x4 and order shock tabs that weld directly to the tube.
  13. My ex went from a 34c to a 38long
  14. I used a piggyback fuse tap from an ignition only powered fuse in the block. I am pretty sure it was the radio
  15. Thank you. 4 hours and she was all better. I got to go to the rally after all . I met husky410ohio and his lovely bride. Good folks.
  16. To be technical, a SOA will lift any MJ, 2WD or 4WD, about 5-1/2 inches. If a 2WD starts out 1" lower than a neighboring 4WD, after both undergo a SOA they will both be lifted by 5-1/2" (+/-) and the 2WD will still be 1" lower than the 4WD. The amount of lift from a SOA is the sum of 1x perch offset ~ 1/2" 1x axle tube diameter ~ 2-3/4" 1x perch offset ~ 1/2" 1x leaf pack thickness ~ 1-1/4" Add that up and you get 5 inches as a minimum lift. Pretty much . I got 5.5" going SOA.
  17. Was the axle swapped in or the gears changed. 3.73 wasn't a factory option. Gear sets with install kits will run from $200 & up depending on how good of a set you want. If the gears are 3.55 or numerically lower you will also need a new carrier for 3.73 & up gears for another $100 or so.
  18. "75% tread or better"
  19. Or a fence post
  20. I did the 95/96 as I got the parts cheap and it was basically bolt on for my '91. The booster swap should honestly be the first upgrade any of us make. I cannot begin to explain what a difference it made in the truck.
