    XJ Gladiator?

At least. You can tell where the wheel used to sit. I kinda like it though.
  2. You notice it cause you did it. The average person probably would not see it.
  3. Just read through all of this and you have done a great job with the truck. It looks great!!
  4. Where you able to find a place to get these redipped?
  5. Those also came on later model XJ's. My 2001 had a set of those.
  6. Gotcha. I learned something new. Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks... Thanks!
  7. Was that just for the D44 or the D35 as well?

    Hemi

I'm like you Pete, this is one of my favorite Comanche's. Tyler did some amazing work on this to make it "look" factory to the untrained eye. If you didn't know that engine didn't come in the truck from the factory, you wouldn't be able to tell it by looking at it.
  9. Did the 4cyl all come with LS diffs?

    Won a raffle

    Nice prize!!
  11. Good to know. I would be interested in a set myself.
  12. Thanks for checking!!
  13. Is it just the front you were working on? Would the XJ front stiffeners not work?
  14. I don't have a Facebook account.... I know, I know...
  15. I know it's a long shot but I am looking for one if anyone has or knows of one. Thanks!
  16. I have an XJ waggy header panel that might look good on the MJ.
  17. Almost forgot...I added license plate LED lights to the bumper too. I didn't get to wire them in because of the rain but if I get the chance tomorrow I will. I have the factory harness but I don't want to cut or splice in it so I will probably just make a new one and keep the original if I ever go back to the factory step bumper.
  18. So I got a little work done on it today before the bottom fell out of the sky. I replaced the heater hoses on it because the ones on it were pieced and rough looking. Old ones: New Ones: The routing when I get the plastic holders from a late model XJ. When I put the valve cover on I used the bolts with the studs on top so I could add the holders. I also put in 1/2 of the new vacuum lines. The boot and grommet at the valve cover had deteriorated and was almost gone. Hopefully no more leaking oil. It's not much, but I replaced the broken tailgate handle with one that's well, not broken. So now I have a functioning tailgate again. Last but not least I replaced the aftermarket temp gauge sender with the factory one so now my factory temp gauge works as it should. I've got all the gauges working now except the fuel gauge and I still have to figure that one out.
  19. A clock, that would be cool.
  20. I found one in a junk yard. Came of a late ‘80 model Chevy car. Don’t remember which one though. It’s a GM column so Should be fairly easy to find. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I drove it to work today. First time and it did great. I love the headlights now, old eyes can see when there’s light. I got my temp sensor in the mail today and hopefully this weekend I’ll get it put in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Where I’m from, if someone waves at you, you wave back and in most cases it’s a simultaneous wave. As for what Jeeps to wave at, even though I’m old school, I can’t get past the angry eye thing so I may wave but it’s usually after they pass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I thought all of those were chrome color. That is interesting. Since the handle is black and all the trim is black, black rings would be cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I've heard and read stories but I'm hopeful these will work. If not, I'll try again...
  25. That's it, that's the wire I have, I just didn't know what it went to. The truck doesn't have an under hood light now and I couldn't figure out what that wire was for. I like the bolt method, looks better IMHO.
