Love the paint color. I really like the hood scoop it fits the truck. And those tail lights are a thing of beauty. Great build.

I'm not real sure. If I was guessing I would think the output speed sensor would be the culprit.

After looking up these sensor I remember selling a ton of the output speed sensor in the early 2000's. They were popular enough we kept them in a drawer at the back counter.

There is an input and output speed sensor in the transmission. There is also a speed sensor in the transfer case. The transfer case should run the speedometer.

The VIN is a 6 so it is an Eliminator.

I went with the ZJ steering linkage in Moog from Rock Auto and an very happy with it. It's a cheap upgrade and the originals don't like to come apart.

This is why this forum is amazing!! Multiple posts with multiple opinions. In the end it's your truck. Stock is stock there is no way around that. One you change any option it's not stock. In the end do what makes you happy. I personally am in the keep a perfect one perfect. I am still all for upgrades that makes it more functional. On the other hand if it's already been modified it's a good ahead pass. Still don't believe in chopping it up though. Needs and bolts are easy to swap back out if you ever want to. I personally love mine exactly how it is. I DD every day no matter what the weather is.It's mine I built what I wanted. It's not really pretty but it's what's under the surface that counts.Some day I will get everything done I want to. Then I see myself getting a 2wd to keep nice and only driving on nice days. You can't only have 1 Jeep!!

I might try it if I wore one more than a couple times a year. I've lived in Iowa my whole life and consider 50 warm enough for shorts and a t shirt. Not really a need for a hoodie.

Sixth digit is a 6. It was an Eliminator when it started life.

The vase is from my wedding. We had real flowers for the wedding this was just the prototype. The lantern I have had for as long as I can remember. The screwdrivers you can see are only a small part of my collection. I have a drawer full in the tool box and another full set not in the picture. My plan was to make a useable bench with everything in arms reach. That is an amazing painting.

I would like to start this of with I am a hobbyist mechanic. I work on cars because I love old Jeeps, and if you drive old Jeeps you have to work in them.Just so you know where I'm coming from. I got this Ryobi cordless brushless grinder for Christmas. So far I am fairly impressed. The guard has a nice lever to push to rotate it around. No screw to loosen. The tool to change the disc is stored in the handle. I can turn the power switch on wearing leather gloves also. The tool storage is just something all tools should have. I am a little biased I have quite a few Ryobi tools and plenty of batteries. It's an addiction similar to Jeeps only cheaper.

I would have to keep it. Just to nice to part out. I also like the faded paint patina.
