@eaglescout526 Is there any way you can find out info on the rear axle? I could not get a good look at the center section of the diff. to verify if it had a D44 or not. It had the big brakes for sure...Also would be great if we could find out it it had a track-lok or not...

Junkyard Truck located at C&W Auto Parts in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Saw the truck last week on a trip through the area and pulled a few parts from it. This is a great junkyard with about 80 acres of cars, a great selection. This one was completed covered with a smear coating of bondo that was then painted over with green paint. Yeeesh. The dark blue interior was in good shape at least. I got the cargo light but the switch was already gone...

This is a great junkyard with about 80 acres of cars, a great selection. No interior photos, but it had a maroon interior that was in good shape. I hope to return and get quite a few more parts from this one, the major ones I am after are: - Rear Bumper - Looked like it had a D44. I'll get that with the springs and driveshaft - Fuel Pump

I don’t get it. How does water help plastic string become less brittle? We are talking about the plastic string on the cutting head right?

As always - Looks good Ben. I would not have changed the plan of my structure on my land to appease the neighbors for any potential snow blowing around into their yard. Especially when you are being as punctual as you are with abiding by codes/permits/etc. You hit it right, if they cared so much they could have purchased the property like you guys did! Be careful with this. Give them an inch and you know what it might turn into...

Those aren’t everyday freight car wheel sets, those are for locomotives = high dollar items...
