A trailer brake controller is definitely on my list of things to add to my truck too. With the 4.0 and 4.10s, its got plenty of pulling power, but not as much stopping power as I would like.

He also fixed the frame rust and added a new rear crossmember because the stock one was all messed up because it had some terrible "custom" bumper brackets on it. The rear spring hanger mounts are for a 1990s Ford Ranger, IIRC. The stock spring hangar has the shackle pointed upwards and is cup shaped, so it traps dirt and moisture, leading to rust. These should fix that issue, and it allowed him to lift the rear up a little more. New crossmember. The pieces of tubing that go crossmember to crossmember and are parallel to the frame rails are to support the K5 Blazer tank.

Well, he found a decent deal on a mid 80s Ford stepside bed that is from down south that he decided to try to put on his truck. It probably wasn't the route I would've went on it, but it should look good once he puts his Jeep fender flares on it. He has to do some trimming to get it to sit right. Some CAD (cardboard aided design) to see what it will look like with the Jeep widetrack flares on it.

Similar to scguy's comment, 21 slot grilles and Wagoneer header panels are worth pulling. Probably any chrome front end pieces too. As are XJ Wagoneer taillights. -

Front skid plate too, I didn’t see that on the list. I might’ve missed it too. Factory 2.5 AC stuff is rare. The bellhousing off of a 2.5 Dakota can mate an AX-15 to a 4 cylinder. -
Soapy water is your friend. Use lots of it that way you can manipulate the graphics some.

@Pete M I think has has baby powder technique. Basically sorrels out a thin layer on the floor near where you think it’s leaking and follow the trail. -

Yes, it was the Kammback. Probably 2nd lowest production Eagle. Second to the Eagle Sundancer convertible.

March 2023- @Warren99's Golf Ball Truck Build Thread- Year/Model - 1989 Base Drivetrain- 4.0 AX-15 NP231(both from 92 YJ). Originally it was 2wd with a BA-10. Cooling- Stock Electrical/Ignition- Stock Suspension/Steering- Rusty's 4.5inch long arms in the front, spring over axle in the back. Interior- Currently, standard grey. Soon to be fully loaded black interior from a Comanche Chief Brakes- Stock Lighting- Stock Exterior- White paint with Maroon pinstripes Wheel & Tires- 31 inch Mud terrains with 15 inch white wheels. Soon to be 31 inch all-terrains with Mickey Thompson Aluminum Misc- Warn Transformer winch bumper soon to be mounted Best MJ story- I have never had the same experience on any other forum as I have on here. There is already so much knowledge and useful information on it, and everybody is so helpful and willing to give advice. I have no doubts that I will keep returning to this forum to ask for more help, document my experiences, and do what I can to help other people who are in the same position I once was and currently am in. Yessir, I do. Turns about 2700 at 75 and 3000 at 85. I ran it across the state at 75 and got 20mpg. Don’t worry about the RPMs. It’ll be happy.
