  1. Some of the more unusual AMC vehicles Levi’s interior! Several State Farm agents are freed identical Pacers, this is one of them. Cotton Candy AMC drag car. Check out that paint!
  2. A neat former AMC dealer turned AMC performance shop.
  3. Eagles! I missed some of these too.
  4. Jeeps! I did miss getting pics of a really nice tan 87 Chief and a blue SWB and I didn’t take any pics of the FSJs.
  5. Photos from the History Center in Kenosha
  6. I also picked up an NOS Fender for this car for an absolute steal
  7. Post show pics of my rigs
  8. I am getting them ready and will try to post some this evening. There’s some nice stuff here
  9. Thank you! The pattern itself is actually very similar in design to the pattern on my Eagle seats, now that you point out that it looks like an AMC design.
  10. Yes I did! More pictures will be coming as the day goes on.
  11. Made it to Kenosha. There was a cruise in tonight that we went to. I drove the Comanche about 200 miles and got 20 mpg. Not bad for 4.10s at 70-75 mph. I have seen pictures of a tan Sportruck and a red Pioneer, but haven’t seen any others yet. I’ll post up some pics though.
  12. You’ve convinced me. Go for it
  13. That seems like a pretty solid price. I wonder if they are galvanized like the factory ones are. I believe these cars are galvanized from the door handles down or something like that. I know they are mostly galvanized.
  14. It’s almost ready for Kenosha, which is a good thing because I leave for there tomorrow. It just needs a wash and I want to figure out a couple of rattles.
  15. I leave for the Kenosha AMC Homecoming show tomorrow. Do I have this car ready? Of course not. But it’s getting close. It just has a couple of noises I want figured out and then I have to wash it.
  16. The biggest thing to be aware of is that there is virtually no aftermarket support for these. As hard as it is finding parts for our Comanches, the Eagle is that much more difficult because AMC didn’t make a ton of Hornets, Spirits, or Concords which the Eagle is based off of either. And all of my other quotes for the transmission rebuild were over a grand. Again, these are 36 year old parts for a car that most people haven’t seen for 15+ years and forgot they existed. The parts supply and the people that can fix these cars is dwindling. With all of that being said, I love my Eagle and cannot recommend them enough. In fact, if you get it, I have a whole pile of parts that I will give you a good deal on if you want.
  17. Do the KSuspension headlight relay harness and a set of Hella H4 housings and bulbs. They will be halogens that are comparable to Wrangler JK LEDs.
  18. Oof, she’s not too good under there. For what it’s worth, it cost me $900 to get my TF998 (which is what came in 6cyl Eagles) in my 86 Eagle rebuilt. And then to fix the front frame area, the leaf spring mounts, and the rocker, you are probably looking at minimum another $1500. So if you could get the car for $1600, that puts you at $4,000 which is about what a driver quality Eagle is worth from what I’ve seen.
  19. It looks like the front bumper is pushed out like it has a hidden winch
  20. I finally remembered to get the pictures. These are in front of and behind the rear wheel. The black I have on there is rust converter to try to hold it until I have time to address it. These cars rust really bad in this spot. My car is from AL and has see very few WI winters and this is how rusty it is. It is fixable though.
  21. Wish I could be there! I hope to see pictures!
  22. Does anyone have any experience with this fuel rail heat shield on their Renix? I see it says its for a 97+, but I can't see why it wouldn't work on a Renix. https://www.amazon.com/Design-Engineering-010378-Injector-1997-2004/dp/B015NOKWQY
  23. I love my 86 Eagle. If you get it, I also have a bunch of extra parts. Let me go out to mine and I’ll take some pictures of common spots these rust out on the “frame”. Mine is an Alabama car and still has some of this rust.
