GrandBoost98s Comanche
The86manche replied to GrandBoost98's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
That might depend on the year of the yj. It was different for the 4.2 and again on the 4.0. I've got a buddy with a 92 2.5 yj with a remote resoviour -
That's quite alright, there's always next year!

If you're concerned about wall space send some stuff to me, I'll hang it on my wall for you

Let me get back to you but I could try to make you a simple version for you if I have the metal. I did for myself, was a bit crude as I used too thick metal but it worked and looked good.

Alright! I did even test it. Took the casing off and blew it out with a can of air. And put power to it. I believe it works. The speaker wires were getting power and everywhere else too. So it's a good one! Sadly the bulb inside is blown and it's a specific one. And it didn't come with any nobs either. Those are either gone of buried under leaves in the floorboard of the car. The car resides in jacks used auto parts in billerica mass. It's tricky to get to cause it's in the trees with a few other old cars. They also have a squished amc spirit too you could probably find the misc pieces you need for like radio nobs and such. I think the concord had a complete nose but I don't remember. It's stuck between a tree and another car. Tight space lol but the engine is there so the district should be there as well! -

Here's a big ol photo dump of my findings. I managed to get out to the yard early. So it's a concord not an eagle but it's pretty close. And pretty complete. I did find the radio too!and I went and checked out the tsi they still had. All but 1 rim was picked. Oddly enough it's the spare tire that got left behind. If you want it. Not perfect but much easier to refinish. -
The description sounds hokey too lol

This is the jeep. Last I saw the wheels were still there. I can go see this Saturday while I grab the radio. And I don't remember what they wanted.. 50 per wheel -

What part of mass are you in? I know of a tsi in a yard in billerica that had the wheels last I saw. -

Yeah! I know where there's an eagle/spirit hanging out in a yard, Untouched -
That thing has options and looks clean! But i feel like 25k is a little extreme for that little truck

I might be able to source you a oe radio if you want one -
I would argue that she still is a nice truck! Looks easily fixable! I hope she gets saved

Bernardston auto wrecking owns the jeep 2.5 4 speed 4x4 Odd bunch of options on it for sure! Some good parts still left. Bench seat only had 1 rip. Headliner board was still up there. Skip package?!

I will say, the 2.8 that is in my comanche is not the original one. The original owner got himself a crate 2.8 from gm so it should be a little bit better lol engine sure runs and feels strong so I'm going to be ballsy and see how she likes some forced induction haha And when that engine blows I'm slapping an amc engine in

Fageol supercharger made for the 60 degreee v6 engines! Picked it up for 350. The company is still in business and they still make parts for this. Bearings feel good at least. Supposed to make 5 lbs of boost at 4000 rpm. Looks like Candice is getting boosted! I do plan on giving the motor a freshen up and inspection before I just slap this on though.

It depends on the state and the yard. Some states and some yards won't send in titles to void. -

Shift solenoids? Have you dropped the pan yet? What's What's fluid look like? -
I have actually seen several pop up for sale or just be in the area. My old boss at my last job had a friend who owned one. Was really nice!
