My first restoration - 1989 Comanche Pioneer
The86manche replied to Jeeptard's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Since nobody else has said it.. your grille is upside down -
The jeep has only been there for a week or so it's still there. Headliner is the only piece in there that you are looking for

VIN UPDATE. Went back and took a photo of the vin plate. 1jtmp6512jt121130 Took a few more photos too. Unibody is so horribly rotted I don't know what is holding it up anymore... In other news I found a bag in the truck and what are the odds that I found not 1 but TWO nos regulators in the truck!

If you can scrounge around edelbrock made a 2 part intake for the 60 degree v60s. I have one but I'm not willing to part with it. Lol

A friend of mine spotted it and let me know about it. New Hampshire plates. Ownership unknown. Year unknown. It is currently on the road though.

The long and short of it is no and yes. Actively and currently no it is not a problem. But give or take a year or two and then it will be a big problem. I would view that as a problem myself and want to have it addressed asap. But that's just me personally. I hate rust.

Sounds similar to the bmw brake pad wear sensors. Have you made any comparison with them?

The 2.8 will probably run just fine. Run her until she dies. -
I know of one at my local yard. The fabric is done but the backing is still good. I wouldn't know the price of shipping though..

This one is one my best friends brother told me the location of. It's actually not even a junkyard it was a service center and there were renix jeeps all in the woods in the back. I ended up convincing the same guy who told me about it to buy the jeep and he now owns it. However.. not before I picked some pieces off of it haha.

This one was from over the summer. Steve from motor trend was doing youtube videos of junkyard crawls in Massachusetts! And the one he has been videoing was about an hour and a half from me. I ended up meeting him there! And the owner of the place told me there was 1 mj in the brushes. Ended up being this 86. Base model. 2.5 4 speed 4x4 with skid package. I didn't get a chance to get the skids but I got a few things off of it. I remember it being so hot that day and I almost got heat stroke!

My most recent find. From last weekend. And right by my house! Poor thing was a plow jeep and was ran hard and put away wet. But there were so many good things inside the cab. A mint rear window gasket and solid pain rear window wrapped in cardboard. 6 or so b pillar lights. Drip rails. I think the bench seat was minty on this one. The body was very chewy though.

As always, thanks eagle

Thanks Pete looks like it was an xj. But being unsure you never know
-
I had totally forgot about that haha
-
Yeah I know. I tried really hard to get decent pics. I'll try again the next time I go
-
I don't know if it's cherokee or xj but it was a swapped door on a comanche I found in a yard. Maybe it was a comanche. It was dated 5-90

Holland used auto parts in billerica mass owns the jeep. Eventually to be crushed. I did my best to get the vin but there was a lot of moisture in the windshield!

This site is still going haha welcome. You should try putting the vins in the search bar and see what comes up in the relevant catagories
