What did you end up doing with the 2.8 you pulled out?

Have you checked Facebook marketplace? There were a few of them on there. I'm in the lowell area and I'm always checking on there.

There's a 95 zj sitting in alocal yard if you wanted a correct radio I could have a look for it -

I have never bought from rock auto honestly and I wasn't sure if you could get them new haha But I figured someone would have one kicking around for cheap and would try that first.

Picked up an engine recently but it was missing some parts. I need an externally balanced flex plate for this engine if anyone happens to have 1 kicking around or on an engine core. Thanks!

"As rare as a farari" a web page article on the comanche
The86manche replied to The86manche's topic in The Pub
Yeah I do agree there were some bits in here that wasn't quite right. And the wagoneer was phased out about the same time as the comanche was too. The xj stayed but the trim was dropped. -
https://autoheritagefoundation.org/2021/08/16/the-jeep-comanche-a-compact-pickup-as-rare-as-the-ferrari/ This article had some good and not too well known information! I wished it continued but it just stops abruptly. Could have mentioned the race trucks. But still a very neat article!

Take good care of it! There's only like 2 or 3 in existance! Nice buy though! -
That thing looked way to clean to have been thrown away.

I took a 5 hour drove one way to get a lwb sport bar. 3 hours is worth it for that. Go get it. Don't let it get crushed! And who would junk this nice looking truck anyway!?

If I come across another set I'll let you know.

Replacement air box? Is yours 4.0 or 2.5 If 4.0 I know of an intake box in a junkyard
-
Wow they moved it! Surprsing too since it's soo chewy. There's hopes and dreams holding that up and together lol Glad someone else is getting more parts off it and that it's still there. Might grab that bench since it's pretty decent and I got a friend who might want it
-
It's quite alright eagle! We all know you do them when you can.
-
If you can get yourself a set, I'd say get a set of fiero valve covers, aluminum and they look damn good . Will really improve the look even more on that engine There's a set I refurbished for my engine
-
There's still lots of stuff. Headliner, rear window if you wanted? Interior bits. Bench seat was in surprisingly good shape. Relay cover, ecu, column shift cluster, renix tb with sensors. I can go on lol

Hollands. Yes it is. Should still be there

This jeep has a little sad story behind it. Owned by an old fellow named george in East Bridgewater mass and it was his son's. His son bought it and drove it a little but then moved and left it behind because he didn't like it haha. His son was part of the secret service and was stationed at one of the twin towers during 9/11. George kept the truck for sentiment. Last inspected in 01/02. After all these years he's finally decided to let it go and that's how I got wind of it. Projected spring/ early summer I plan to pick this one up. George has another comanche as well but I forgot to grab the vin for that one. For a truck sitting in the dirt for 20 years.. it's very very clean underneath. Surface rust of the cab corners and typical soft floors. Bed sides are SPOTLESS. THERES A LEAF COVERING THE LAST NUMBER I think it's a 6 cause I did a quick vin decode and went through 0-9 to see what would come up and 6 is the only thing that worked.. Hood was stuck shut but from what I was told very weird options. 2.5, 4 speed ax4, 2x4. Short bed. Manual steering. Not sure about the brakes. Full gauges. No ac.
