I mean the two go together honestly. Jeeps are from the 80’s cassette was peak popularity, vinyl was dying, CD tech was getting cheaper and more available. Yeah it adds up haha.
Somethings though that I’ve learned other than my old soul appreciates vinyl is that a lot of music is more or less lost in that era. Thanks to radio you don’t really hear songs by other groups unless it’s one of their popular pieces. And streaming doesn’t always have every song or every version of a covered song, YouTube is riddled with ads to make listening to music unbearable and having the physical media is nice and says “I own this”.
