... My last post - 'Hard-Cranking Window Regulators', I wanted to know what was the best grease to use on the manual regulators, which had dried up. I started with the Search : 'Regulator Grease' -132 pages all kinds of : > regulators > grease. When I Searched on - 'Window Regulator Grease' - 344 pages all kinds of : > window > regulator > grease ~ I composed a detailed question and received more answers to my question than after reading and reading from the 132 or the 344 pages. youngfred

... Going in to change the outside door weatherstripping window-sweeps, on both doors. They are both, old and cracked. Both window-regulators are hard to crank and dry with both not going down, all-of-the-way (before the crank gives). I am planning to grease both, while I have each side apart. I would like to grease them, only-once though. What is the best grease to use on the regulators and the cranks, that will not be too affected, by heat/cold, moisture, dirt(and-time) ? Thanks, youngfred
