  1. yeah definitely some of the trucks have way more than 10k in them. but it does get an A+ for entertainment. I was glad to see the comanche escape unharmed even though it didnt win
  2. idk about what size would fit the stock piece but I do know that they make a panel where the clock would go for 4 rocker/carling switches Jeep-Cherokee-Xj-Mj-84-96-Switch-Panel-Clock-Panel-Replacement-4x-Carling
  3. Got some supplies, we'll see if this works
  4. First step is to check fuses lol my hazards and brake lights stopped working because the fuse came lose
  5. Project update, I got my monstaliner 2 gallon tintable paint kit in predator green It was kinda hard choosing a color as they would all look great on the mj. I also got my new exhaust manifold and mid pipe. it looks so good in the box I can only imagine how good it will look in the jeep and how it will sound. I was told to do the freeze plugs on the block and head of the engine which I will consider doing. Also was doing some body work in preparation of painting the body soon
  6. Full width will definitely be interesting
  7. Haha yes they do. Nothing happened to the comanche though. He got eliminated in the third event because he had the slowest time
  8. Hey guys I was catching up on a new show, "Truck Night in Amercia", it airs monday nights. Its a show where everyday guys can submit and application to compete in there 4x4 trucks, jeeps and suv's. While watching an episode I saw something and I feel in love. Sorry for the crooked picture, but a nice (what looks to be 1 ton swap) mj on 40s was on the show. Idk if he is a member here but its definitely a nicely built truck.
  9. I have nothing to contribute for any of these combinations
  10. If the bumpstop is centered in the coil you are golden. if its not then we have an issue. Have you tired running them as short as possible? I would start from there and just try to get the bumpstop centered in the coil. Your control arms maybe different lengths on each side so try not to stick to a specific measurement
  11. Hey welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy looking around, I know I have learned much from the guys here and its always a good place to come for info. Your trucks looks good and just makes me antsy to finish mine
  12. I saw it on instagram and it is just awesome. the rigs that come out of the grambler 500 are something else. I don't understand why people do it to muscle cars but I enjoy the work and craftsman ship that went into it. so long short, yes yes yes yes throw me the keys
  13. winner winner chicken dinner. We found our solution haha. But in all seriousness, I am probably going to try the foam ear plug, or with a cotton ball and a fish hook as Walt suggested file away and take out the old fitting, and when I am done I may crank the engine to flush the passage way. I don't want to have to pull the engine as I am moving away for school july 1st. and the plan as to have the comanche done before then.
  14. I am pretty sure they are referring to the post-97 master cylinder set up, I know as I made the mistake before and ordered the 97 one only to realize it won't bolt up. anything from 96 and prior should work
  15. How would this work? Having some diificulty visualizing
  16. Current situation looks just like the previous pictures. Hasnt gotten any worse or any better
  17. I bought a fitting at home depot brand new and it looks like the one in the link. I'm just trying to get it out with out ruining the engine
  18. This sounds like a good idea. Just for a split second. I don't want to resort to cutting out the remnants abd getting more metal in the oil
  19. I may try this. But trying at all cost to have to pull the motor. I know if I get metal pieces in there I'm screwed
  20. I had a friend send this ti me saying to but this one instead of dumping more money into my jeep 1988 Comanche 4.0l 5speed https://offerup.co/dfgqU28ckM
  21. Its frustrating because I can't get it out and I feel like I have tried everything
  22. So this is where I am at right now. I went to homedepot and bought the pipe nipple extractor set because they are shorter than the extractor I had. And I bought a new fitting being optimistic. But still no dice, the extractor set is perfect if I had enough room to hit it with my little hammer. So back to square one. I also tried to take the engine mount off but my ac compressor is in the way. Just in case people need part numbers (optimism) The brass fitting And some humor for my pain
  23. Yeah I feel like they were
  24. I have taps and an excrator bit. They will go into the hole but I can't get a wrench, drill etc behind it because the motor mount is in the way. And I don't know how I would move that mount out of the way
  25. I tried this to no avail. Maybe I'm not doing it right but I'm going to keep trying
