X2 for me. Work, girls and cars diverted my interests. I've got a little boy now, and he starts Cubs in about a month.(Right after school begins.)

I went to Philmont, Many, Many, Many years ago. It was a blast. It was just to expensive for our troop to afford to go again.... It really wasn't that rough of an adventure, but when your 12 as long as you have food its all good.

WOW!!!! That looks to be running RICH, really, really RICH. The only other time I saw a plug looking anywhere close to that was a race motor that overheated, and it was experiencing uncontrolled combustion.

The electrical troubleshooting manual is very nice. I've never had a single problem figuring it out. But I am a tech geek at heart.

Ever seen a Ranger parked next to a Mazda? I realize that Ford owns a portion of Mazda. And has for many years. It doesn't bother me, but some reason telling HeartBreakers that they use a Jap diesel rather than a US diesel gets them wound for sound.

Like Izuzu's that much?? (God, that burns up Chev-heads to point out their cherished Duramax is a Jap.) I only buy Ford's for my trucks at work. We have an 89 that has about 500k miles on the damn thing. Yea, it looks like complete crap, and it rides like a work truck. But that isn't why we bought them. I wish we could have kept all the 7.3l around. The first few 6.0l we got were not good trucks at all. But they seem to have the problems worked out. My boss lost one to many trannys in his Dodge for us to ever buy one.

I've been working in Bloomington, and I keep seeing a white MJ, with a cap sitting by a house near a middle school I pass. Its got quite a lift, and a pretty serious 'California" lean to it...

Anytime you need to add fruit to beer to drink it, that means its not good beer to start with.

If you can survive till I get home next week, PM me your address, I'll mail you a cruise control computer. I have a couple somewhere in the garage.

They actually need 6'(72 and some .000 inches) of spacing to allow for proper propogation. You can actually place them close enough, put RF to only one antenna and effectively create a parasitic effect on the radiation pattern. Get three or four antennas and you could turn your truck into a giant Yagi-type antenna.

Hmm.. if there is, its something new. PM JeffB he is the web master.

Nothing says home defense like a Remington 870 with 00 shot. Yes, you may not kill the intruder. But you certainly will make them rethink their decision to enter YOUR house. don't worry...you hit em he won't be around to lie..... But stay away from buck shot unless your very rural...that stuff will shoot right thru walls of your house!!! Large bird shot is a better choice for the close ranges found inside most houses. Whowey, RIGHT ON brother!! 870 all the way! My tactical 870: CW I live in a small town, and the village already knows my ideas of home defense. My neighbors were running a pitbull breeding kennel in their garage and one of their girls kept getting loose. I met it one morning about 6 am when I was in my robe with a sack of garbage I was taking out. It growled at me, I called the village and told them the dog catcher could pick it up walking, or not his choice. I asked how they would prefer the fine for discharging a firearm in the village limits. They said walking was preferred, but if I felt my family was threatened I had to do what I thought was proper. When the cops came to talk to me, the Cheif of police told me to make sure and drag the carcass inside the fence just to make sure there were no questions. I have an Express, a Wingmaster, and a Vietnam-era Classic. IIRC, the Express is actually loaded with #7 lite loads. Wife loves that gun, and we were out doing some trap shooting. She has a hard time keeping 00 under control, and the lites are more than enough to get the job done at 10-15 ft.

When I was on the BOD, you didn't have to wait to be activated...

JC Whitney used to carry them, (I think). The Whitney ones were a fiberglass skin that you attached over your factory fenders. They came alot larger than you needed, and you trimmed them to match your body curves. A friend and I 'dually-ed' his parents Toyota p/u to better carry their slide in camper. I wish I knew what camper that was, cause I have a feeling it would have fit perfectly in my MJ.

I LOVE my Destination MT's. But(and a huge one) the sidewall is very soft. I have torn two now when aired down. But they do stick to everything.

How do those do with 99.9% road driving? I was thinking about getting another XJ to drive to work, cause my one is 'street legal' but not really good to drive, and I would like to tear down my MJ. I know that I won't be able to leave any Jeep I buy alone.

Yep, the cruise control computer.

I'm afraid they probably won't win the suit. The worst part is that the cargo airlines have already said they don't want to use an airport out there. Their infrastructure is already in place at Philly, and they don't want to move.

Ladies and Gentelmen, Can I please have your attention?

I worked on the road for a couple of years. It really, and truly sucked arse. When I was home, I couldn't hardly even catch up with the work around the house that stacked up. I had really small kids at the time, and I missed quite a bit of that 'baby' stuff. I only spend about 2 months a year on the road now, and I like it much better. I still get a few days at a time without worrying about house stuff, and I get the quiet time. But I don't end up with the huge stack of stuff to worry about when I get back. -
Considering that it was a $15k+ antique Porsche, yes very. Turned out whoever entered the truck info, into their tracking system entered the wrong number for the car. When I called for tracking info, the driver that had the number shown on the shipping form, kept saying he didn't have a Porsche. He didn't, it was on a different truck.

I had to set it up for my boss last year. It was right around $1k, for LA to NW Illinois. But the original quote was $1500. It took almost 4 weeks to get the car picked up and delivered. The shipping company "lost" it for 2 weeks. This is the large company that you see advertised in classic car mags all the time. They used covered transports, that held 6 or 7 cars, and you waited until they had a truck in the pick-up area heading in your direction.

There is a place in Addison, that sells the parts. IIRC, its called Certi-Fit. Yes, you do get a set of Chopsticks with every order.

Make sure both mating surfaces are clean. That and new copper washers usually fix the problem for me. -

Not to say that they my have never meet but I no these two people that my wife works with. These girl and guy worked side by side never knowing that the other one wanted any thing from each other until they might on line. Now there married and have kids I think. All I am saying is some time the best thing could be right in front of you and you just never know it. So best of luck to all you guys with female thing. And for my for my point of view I have been with the same girl for the past 7-8 years 3 kids and there are day that I am jealous of my friend that have no wife or kids. Then again I think they like that way so to each his own. I've been married for just over 13 years. Two kids. I always think my single/divorced friends have it better. Then I get home from wherever, and my dinner is hot and ready, my laundry is clean, my house is clean, my dog is taken care of, my bills are payed on time and I realize I'm the one who has it so much better.
