  1. Lol 120 miles at 30 mph would not be good
  2. Ya I agree also. These trucks are so damn rare. I can't seem to fathom turning one into a trail rig. Thats what my XJ is for. It is a bad @$$ build tho, but look at those immaculate floor pans. Geeze
  3. It's still beautiful. You guys have to admit that. I sure don't get tired of seeing it. If only I had the cash
  4. All I got were a few flurrys. I hope we get some accumulation this year.
  5. He says it has an air chuck and electrical outlet behind it
  6. Yep, bumper looks good. I'm thinking about that one for my project since the factory is MIA. Not quite sure though. I have a long way to that point lol
  7. Daaamn....sexy. Post some more pics, show the rest of it off
  8. Lol ya me too. If it sat much longer it would have just rotted away
  9. I had them formed up at a local sheet metal shop. 16ga. I was able to salvage about a 6" section for a pattern for them to go off of.
  10. No problem man.
  11. Those ravines look great on that white truck. Makes it pop
  12. Ya, I found it not long after I was posted. I still have pic of add. It was up 19 hours.
  13. Horrible lol. I'm making progress with it though. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yep, drilling spot welds are the worst. The factory just puts them in random spots, and if the panel is real rusty they are hard to find.
  14. In the video he called it EZ chrome and said he was with Alsa Corp. https://alsacorp.com/easy-chrome/ this looks like it
  15. looks like a nice clean truck. Good truck to start with. Can't beat 500 bux
  16. Seems pics got a little blurry from resizing. Hmm. Anyway, that's where I'm at. I did a lot of pondering back and forth about the floors. And I'm happy I went this direction. It's gonna be the best possible restoration I can do.
  17. Mocked up my new inner rocker panels. I am going to sand blast everything and coat all bare mating surfaces with cold galvanizing compound before welding these in.
  18. So after a 3 month break (I get busy in the summer months, I do HVAC) I'm back on it. Here is progress as ofyesterday. Got the floor all stripped out. A lot of spot weld drilling. It was the most tiedious thing ever. Lots of patients and a good cutter kit.
  19. And here is after I cut some rust out to evaluate what the heck I'm gonna do lol
  20. Here are the floor pans after ripping up the carpet.
  21. Truck was pretty rotted out. I drove about 4.5 hrs to Arkansas to pick up a rust free bed.
  22. Interior shot. It was a complete truck, which was a plus. No major parts MIA
  23. Here is my 1990 Jeep Comanche Eliminator project. Truck was sitting for 5 years at PO. He said he used to use it to run down to the river for fishing. Truck is pretty rough, but it was all there which was a requirement for me. Truck fired right up and drove it onto the trailer. When I got home the first thing I did was a lot of power washing. A lot of years of grease and grime on this thing. After that went through all the wiring and performed all of cruisers tips. Also replaced the following; -96 Valve cover and gasket -intake and exhaust manifold gasket -oil pan gasket -entire cooling system (swapped to open, all new components) -engine mounts, trans mount -new exhaust system from manifold back -4 hole injectors -new fuel tank, filter, and pump (blew out all fuel lines) This is the day I went and picked it up, drove 8 hours round trip to Danville IL
