It would probably be easier to just fab a new one up. Maybe not, the factory ones are spot welded on. They might not be too bad to get off. Cut yours off, cut the rust out then box your frame in. Then install the new hanger.
Ahh, that's a good idea. I will give that a whirl. Would like to start a build thread. I appreciate the suggestion.
That will be great. Get to work lol.
This seems like a good spot for this question. I'm sure all of you guys are taking pics with your cell phones, I have an IPhone. When I try to upload a picture, it tells me it's too big. How do I fix that?
I went through the same ordeal. I almost ordered Xj inners, they probably would have worked just fine. I ended up cutting out a piece left that was in good shape for a pattern and took it to a local sheet metal shop. They are gonna form them up out of 16ga.
Ya, I PMed you in October with no response. That's all I was stating. Thanks for the reply and sorry you will be out of work. Never good for anybody. Hope all goes good.
- Looking for the plastic covers that conceal the seat bracket (at the floor) for bucket seats, if it makes a difference. Need both sides
- Also in need of the trim bezel that surrounds the tilt forward lever on the bucket seats. Need both sides also
thanks everyone
I'm goin through the same ordeal with my 90. Floors all rotted out. Lots of time with the spot weld cutter. I had to replace the inner and outer rockers as well.
First off, the truck is looking amazing. I cannot wait until the day mine is back together. I just ordered an antenna surround, thanks for the info on that. Second, where did you find the lower door shield, wind baffle, not sure what to call it?
