Indeed I was asking whether if it has to be a 1988 or if it has to be just a renix flywheel.

I'm putting a 94 external slave ax15 into my 88 MJ (converting from a 2wd auto to 4wd) What brand is recommended for a flywheel? Year specific or just renix specific?

Yes it's nice rear shocks for my mj and for the XJ that I did couple years ago.

I installed them on my mj when I first got it in October. I actually greased the inside of the bushing and on the shaft and used a c clamp with a socket to press the bushing into the shaft.

On my 88 pioneer auto with the column shift. The bench seat is straight across, and on my 91 eliminator with the ax15. The bench seat have a notch in the middle (I suppose it's because to accodomate the mini console). I'm swapping in the ax15 into the 88 and I don't plan on using the mini console, I plan to have the boot mounted directly on the floor, and from my eyeballing it doesn't look like I would need to swap the seats. Is there a particular reason for the notch on the seats other than the mini console?

Only temporary until I figure out a way to extend my arm. Lol

i recently pulled the motor out of my 91 mj. The passenger side mount bolt couldn't come out due to hitting the oil filter adapter, so I just unbolted the bottom two nuts of the mount. Definitely not a renix thing
