  1. Remind me, have you completed Tips 1 through 5 yourself?
  2. what temp thermostat do you have in the truck? If one of the heater hoses at the firewall, or both, are cooler than the heater hoses at the front of the engine there's an issue with the valve or the core. A fancy testing instrument like a bare hand will help verify this.
  3. My 90 MJ has blinkers that alternate with the lights on.
  4. Renix doesn't heat soak like the later models.
  5. I'll bet your forearm torque rating and your shoulder torque rating are like mine also. Never failed me in over 50 years.
  6. The CPS can be adjusted to put out more voltage...... http://cruiser54.com/?p=50
  7. I have no clue. You couldn't get a torque wrench in there anyway. Let's just call it "wrist tight".
  8. See Tips 1 through 5 at www.cruiser54.com
  9. Make sure the rearmost valve cover bolts are tight enough.
  10. I bet a bunch of that is stereo wiring. Might pull the head unit and go from there back toward the fuse box.
  11. excellent!! FWIW, after refurbishing mine, I really feel like the stronger spring had the most effect.
  12. I understand about the new heads. They came about as a result of the originals cracking. I just hope everything bolts up like it should.
  13. because they cracked. I would do exactly the opposite. I'm not sure your intake and exhaust will bolt up properly to the 0331. Be sure to research it.
  14. You're using an 0331 head? That's an oddball head. The 91 to 99 heads work really well on the Renix engines. You can just use the intake/exhaust gasket for the Renix intake manifold. I have match ported a few, but it's not really necessary.
  15. Only with supervision!!
  16. Should not be loose. Keep track of how far you're turning it. Try going in also.
  17. Ah, yes. Projectile mice!!
