  1. I ended up just cleaning the throttle body and AFS as they were both gunked up pretty bad. Hopefully that will solve the problem. I'm working on a 89 4.0 Pioneer Manual 4x4
  2. Hi there, recently my comanche will start reving high randomly. Doesn't happen often but once and a while the RPMS will climb and I'll have to shut the truck off and restart then goes back to normal. Is it an Air filter issue or a sensor of some kind? Any help greatly appreciated.
  3. Hello all! I'm trying to get to the root of my heating issue. 4.0L manual 89 Comanche Pioneer So far I have done the following -Flushed heater core -Bleed cooling system -verify my thermostat works -verify my fan works So my heater does technically work but it's quite pathetic in terms of how much heat I'm getting in the cab. Maybe just enough to defrost the windows when the temperature drops but not at all enough for a comfortable ride. My hoses are running hot and my thermostat is kicking on when it's supposed to so I'm at a loss. Does anyone out there have any ideas as to what it could be!?
  4. She's a 4.0L long bed 4x4 Rebuilt motor so unsure of the mileage but was replaced 3 years ago. Unsure of the transmission but also replaced 2 years ago.
  5. Feel like I scored on this Comanche. Paid $4500 canadian. What do you guys think good deal or did I pay too much? All mechanically sound as far as I can tell... rebuilt engine, newer transmission, new breaks, ujoints, and e brake.
