  1. If the DRL module wire used for LAMPS OFF with PARK BRAKE being applied is looking for a path to ground, then using the grey/black wire at the proportioning valve will work for you. NOTE: Path to ground will also be made when proportioning valve has been shifted (brake issues) or when IGN SW is in the CRANK position (bulb check).
  2. 4_0L Engine Harness pg90.pdf Between C100_B6 and C103_E runs a YELLOW (14awg) wire. This wire should be IGN SW I1 feed.
  3. Yes Battery Terminal with all Fusible links. No I don't. Something with gauge size.
  4. Is this C102_6? If it is, then C102_6 uses Fusible Link H (Hot at all times).
  5. I'm pretty sure that will only test to the check valve, not the reservoir.
  6. Truthfully, I was only talking about how the CC Clutch SW would vent the SERVO, no more than that. But now that you mention it, make sure your CC Clutch SW is adjusted properly. I would think once the CC Clutch SW is engaged that would totally shut down CC and CC would have to be SET again. Try your jumper wire idea.
  7. Now, I'm going to make a guess here, but I'll bet when the CC Clutch SW (Manual Trans only) is depressed and only the CC Clutch SW, this will vent the SERVO.
  8. Looks like the SERVO has an internal vent, controlled by the Vent Valve Solenoid. Drawing shows valve venting to atmosphere. Could be the default setting (CC OFF).
  9. Do a SEARCH using REM. See what others think about it. I like to think its a must have tool, especially for drivability problems.
  10. Yes, also goes to the Wipers.
  11. Check Ignition Switch.
  12. @schardein Thanks for the follow up.
  13. Check cavity C118_8. (PNK W/TR)
  14. Ford - First on race day
  15. ST has added fuel to the INJ PW probably/good chance because of the low ECT reading. LT holding steady. IP width reads good. Fuel Injection Manual has a crude ECT test. Check it out. ECT sensor testing pg30.pdf
  16. Yes. Wire will/should have a tracer color on it.
  17. Coolant Temperature Sensor aka ECT. Did you try that IR gun on the ECT sensor itself. See what it reads. Using your REM, what are your STFT, LTFT and INJ PW readings? I'll assume vehicle is running in Closed Loop (CL).
  18. It means at the time of print the trace (TR) wire color was unknown. But what was known was wire had a tracer on it. Some say if the harness builder was out of that color, they just used another color for the tracer.
  19. Seems to be true except for Left Door Speaker. Gotta love these manuals. Both 87 & 88 show the same. Typo maybe, best I can do. Look at your speakers, that will be the same.
