  3. Yes, I put hose clamps on both ends to ensure a good seal Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I used a 3 inch diameter hose from McMaster carr. It held up well and was still good to go, after 3 years, before I sold that MJ. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  5. The "pre-heater" hose? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  6. I suppose it's possible. The part number matched correctly for an XJ, however. Either way, the flange seems to be interference fit. I'm not sure why it would not stay seated, other than a defect. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Thats what I figured...thanks for the confirmation. For future reference, what is the "technical" term of that item?
  8. Any ideas as to why this part of the water pump keeps flying off of the shaft? Brand new Mopar pump.
  9. At the threat of a complete thread hijack - why are the internal slaves so bad with the BA 10/5 and AX15? Most modern manual vehicles use internal slaves and there doesnt seem to be a problem.
  10. It did I believe that is C317, then. Awesome. Thank you for the help.
  11. I looked through the electrical manual and couldn't find it. The circled connector is on the cruise control harness (from an 88 4.0)and connects to the engine harness near where the servo would mount. Can anyone clue me in on to what it operates? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. I'm not big on the exhaust sound. I've got an HO exhaust manifold mated to an OE style Walker exhaust. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  13. He's mentioned that he had a BA 10/5..that means he'll have the .59 pilot bearing ID. Additionally, he said the input shaft, on the AX15, was .75". So, yes, his original post is correct.
  14. I'm in Tapatalk, so I can't see your signature. But, if you have a renix, most of the 91-96 hoses can be used. The evap to filter drier hose I had to buy from jeepair Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  18. Honestly, it sounds the same as stock. I can't tell the difference when driving. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Yes, I put a fuse box and bus bar where the old air box was. Additionally, I just like the extra room to access things. And, the new intake doesn't take up much room, where it currently sits, so it not a hindrance in its new spot. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  20. As far as the second part of your question is concerned, I swapped in the older style AX15 (the .59" input shaft vs the later .75" input shaft). I was able to use my BA10/5 clutch and pressure plate, with the external slave, fork and throw out bearing. That may not be the case for the later style AX15s, so hopefully someone who has done that can chime in.
