  1. $10 with shipping?! And it covers '84s?!
  2. As far as sway bars go, if it's not stable, put one on. Adding a sway bar is pretty easy. As for a trac bar, it would depend on how you set up your links. If you did a triangulated 4 link, where the upper and lower links have the same angle, but in opposite directions, you shouldn't need one.
  3. Well, the prerunner crowd will never tell you no. If you want to flex without axle wrap, they are the way to go. The pics I have are of prerunners though, so they're systems are set up a lil bit differently than ours would be.
  4. :rotf: You installing a sweet system when you wire that gadget in? I think I'm one of only a few with a sub.
  5. If you can link it, then you can do it, but unless you want your CoG on the moon, you'll probably want a bed cage. Also, if the gas tank's in the way, move it. If you can put it further back, it'll help your weight distribution. Bedcages take up a lot of space, for even the most modest design. This one does need more triangulation and those are just long travel shocks with remote resevoirs, no coilovers.
  6. I forget that the other years didn't have the "kick @$$" badge. They'll look alot better on there.
  7. Wow, this vote's comin out a lil different...
  8. All my friends hate WalMart, but I like 97 cent bags off brand Cheetos.
  9. Lol, "butter face", lol. I get a kick out of that everytime. Okay, MJ coverage is awesome. It's frickin sweet. I haven't read the article cause I'm too poor to buy it, and too busy to read it at Barnes & Noble. Anyways, MJ coverage FTW.
  10. I don't know much about planes, but I thought that picture of the lil plane was hilarious and... I almost fell on the floor over that, sorry. Do you guys learn to fly and everything in the training?
  11. There's no badges on the truck. :D It's about bloody time you got that! You could just stencil the Umbrella logo on.
  12. I didn't realize the JeepSpeed one had such a lean, I've never seen that angle. That truck's crazy! comanche38, cool truck. I'll take my questions to the other post.
  13. Alex, you gotta get some different pics! Are you driving that one yet? Good buy! They both run?
  14. I have definitely never seen that old pic. There's somethin about that MJ that really sets it apart from the rest, and I'm yet to pinpoint it. Hope the DD comes out as original, cause I already know it'll be wicked.
  15. Mine are hitting the shock thingy too at 4". It doesn't allow for any droop on the axle. I need a set. When's the trail test?
  16. They've got sweeet $5 shades.
  17. Umm... I need to know the fuel pressure on a '78 Toyota pickup, and the Toyota guys won't respond to my posts. Is that possible to get? TIA!
  18. Wicked front end! No one would know what to think if someone redefined their MJ like that!

    small lift

Looking at CW's pics, they give some pretty good flex. Good enough that you wouldn't want a shorter shackle. What you could do is run Rusty's 4" lift springs, and use blocks. Since your truck is SUA, the blocks will lower the truck as much as you'd like to lower it.
  20. I believe that 2001 was the only year they didn't. All MJs have em.
  21. I like both the bolts that hold it on cause the outside of the heads aren't exposed, and I like that the cover protects them too! Get it cheap?
  22. Paint job #3 on my yota was rattle can. Turned out pretty well, and I only used 5 cans of WalMart paint at 97 cents a piece.
  23. It's not exactly an MJ, and it's the 97+ front end but for headlights:
  24. But you got banned for the word "idiot"... I can think of lots of replacement words that would've been alot worse.
  25. That interior looks tasty! Since you're fixing rust, pull that bed liner and check for it there. Water and moisture can get trapped between the liner and the bed, but it isn't always a problem. Full gauges?
