This truck reminds me of a 3-in-1 model kit or something. You can choose which style you want to build it, cause there's enough parts to build 2 more trucks. Sorry, I've got nothing helpful to say, but if you need a part, I'm going to the JY this week and can ship you something.

I don't know about Frankensteinsmj, but I'm looking to preserve my seat.

Theoretically, using XJ springs in the sping-over-axle set-up should put you back at about stock heighth. However, the springs are much shorter, as Oizarod115 stated.

But... Keep in mind, it is a 20 year old vehicle. Any vehicle of this age is going to take tinkering, at least from time to time. If you have some basic mechanical knowledge, or a close friend or relative that does, you're ace in the hole, and good to go!

I don't think the 2.8L V6 ever came with a serpentine belt setup in the Cherokee or Comanche. They all had V belts. That might not even be a 2.8L V6. It's hard to tell. I started argueing with myself too. Looks like the distributor's in the same location (a hidden one behind the air filter).

Don't know which ProComps you're looking at, but the XTerrains run big. 31s on my 4.25" front end are a perfect, when normally ppl seem to run 31s on 3". I can't seem to find any pics on my hard drive of that combo, sorry.
